Really cool spot with a great vibe. Drinks were good, service was friendly, and the whole place has that hidden speakeasy feel without trying too hard. We stopped in before dinner and really enjoyed it. Definitely a place I’d come back to.
I've been to NY twice and this was the ONLY good experience I had. I definitely appreciated it. Our service was great! We had 3 courses and everything was delicious!

The Green Door is a great restaurant with awesome food, great atmosphere, and wonderful service. The staff is welcoming and accommodating. The food is interesting and good, not the usual bar food. The open kitchen is fun to watch, and the chef creates artistic plates. The portion sizes are great, and the food is excellent. They have an extensive cocktail menu, including a pistachio martini, signature old fashioned, and espresso martini. The old fashioned is one of the better ones, and the espresso martini is the perfect blend. The food menu includes blackened scallops, pork belly empanadas, lamb meatballs, steak sandwich, and bone marrow French fries. The bone marrow French fries are highly recommended. The restaurant has a speakeasy style vibe, and the open bar/kitchen is fun to watch. The ambiance is outstanding, with low lighting and music. They have live music nights, teacher happy hours on Fridays, and industry night on Mondays with 10% off for food service workers. The Green Door is a perfect date night location, and reservations are recommended. There is ample 4-hour parking nearby. Overall, The Green Door is a great place to enjoy good drinks and food with friends, and it is worth the experience.
