“I just had the best customer service that I’ve had in years if not ever. I bought 3 medium subs, all containing different meats, toppings, Bread and cheese. I believe the man’s name was Yomer. He was friendly, joked with both myself and the staff, personable, smiling. I confused myself telling him the orders but he had everything correctly. He mentioned labeling them. Then I went to go cut the sub in 1/2 but he already did! Also, the subs were not messy. Had great portions to make it taste delicious. If wegmans actually read these reviews I just want to say Thank you! I really haven’t come across such amazing service in a long time. He deserves a raise!!! PS I had 2 young kids with me who he interacted with.“
“I am a die hard Wegmans fan. When I'm back in NC I drive 3+ hours for a "Wegmans Run" every few months. Maybe I've become accustomed to the newer store models, though I still don't think they are as charming as some local CNY Wegmans, this store needs some love. The interior is rather dated and the floor plan is strange. It's almost like they tried to update it and force those changes into the existing building without making the structural changes needed to really make it work.“
“I had to leave a glowing review for this employee at their corporate office, Marcus went above and beyond for me. I won’t get into details so it doesn’t happen again to him (as I have already let HR know) but I just have to say that, hands down MARCUS MADE THE BEST SUB I have ever had anywhere and that includes my past wegmans subs too!! He had phenomenal customer service to match that as well! He made sure the sub was exactly as I wanted it and it was incredibly packed! I wanted no onions and light mayo on my side and the other side would have reg amount of mayo and lite onions for the other, I’m just saying he deserves to be employee of the month.It’s 20 minutes to close and he still had a great attitude right before it was time to go. Exceptional staff member to have on the team, high five!!!“
“Great premade selections of tasty international foods and to order freshly made salads, burgers, pizza . Seating area indoor and outdoor available. Area large, clean and microwave and sink available along with cutlery and napkins. Reasonably priced .“
“This is a great Wegmans. I drive out here from closer to the center of town because it's a particularly nice store. Their pastries are awesome. Their selection is great. They have those spicy extra crunchy taquitos I like so much- though, has the east coast not heard of corn tortillas? Anyway, if you want $1.99 pirogis, they have them. If you want bulk salmon, they have that, too. The sushi is, ehh, it's grocery store sushi. What can you do? Not bad in a pinch. The Moroccan olives are the best- those are the wrinkly black ones. The cheese, well, all of it is good. I've had great conversations with the cashiers, too. They've been really friendly and welcoming.“
“I love Wegmans so this review is a contradiction to my recommendation. My wife and I just left Wegmans (John Glenn) after spending way too much time there due to walking up and down aisles over and over attempting to find what we were looking for. This was an EXTREMELY frustrating process. People do not want to spend all day in the grocery store. They want to go in, get what they need, and get out and enjoy their day. I totally understand Wegmans business reason to change the layout around, but as a consumer, and a family that spends a lot of money yearly in Wegmans as our primary grocery store, this is nothing but an inconvenience.“
