Had eaten at Barney's two weeks earlier and it was fantastic. Brought our visiting family back on this night to enjoy it and it wasn't the same. I even had the same dish, the Tuna and it was vastly different. Way too much ginger. My family and I all agreed that it was just ok and nothing special that night. Wait staff was very good and friendly. They need to have consistency.

The food is second to none, with our table's favorites including the fall off the bone baby back ribs, tender - house made gnocchi, and of course, the famous preparation of the Long Island duck, including a seared sliced breast as well as a cooked to perfection on-the-bone leg. Simply put, Barney's is a must visit for all those who appreciate dining in a sentimental and one-of-a-kind restaurant that could not be replicated elsewhere. We cannot wait to be back!

We had just finished coming from a dog show and we wanted to add my niece and her husband who were showing their grand champion dog at the show and we asked if we could add them to our party if we sat outside and Barney's couldn't have more accommodating we had such a wonderful night it was fabulous.

Arrived 6:10 reservations were for 6:30. We were seated immediately. Our waiter was attentive and efficient. Food was excellent My wife and I could hold a conversation without having to raise our voices

The three course Wednesday dinner was perfect. Not huge portions but very sufficient. The fried calamari appetizer is by far my favorite. Staff is fabulous. A nice treat every few months or so.
