We had just finished coming from a dog show and we wanted to add my niece and her husband who were showing their grand champion dog at the show and we asked if we could add them to our party if we sat outside and Barney's couldn't have more accommodating we had such a wonderful night it was fabulous.

Arrived 6:10 reservations were for 6:30. We were seated immediately. Our waiter was attentive and efficient. Food was excellent My wife and I could hold a conversation without having to raise our voices

The three course Wednesday dinner was perfect. Not huge portions but very sufficient. The fried calamari appetizer is by far my favorite. Staff is fabulous. A nice treat every few months or so.

I have been coming to Barney's for a quarter century! Love this gem of a restaurant in beautiful Locust Valley! Lovely ambience; great food and attentive service. They treat you like family!

The ambiance and our service was wonderful. Unfortunately, was disappointed with my dinner selection. Ordered the special of the evening pork chop with lobster. The server presumed it was a full lobster but it was a lobster tail. Normally a tail comes in a steamed red tail shell. This tail was shell less. It was also tasteless. Not appealing in appearance as well. Don't mind paying for a special but not this one. On the other hand the mussel special was delicious as the appetizer. The service and your ambience was exceptional.
With arrpoximately 130 years as a restuarant, Barneys continues its great tradition of of great food, cocktails, ambiance and service. It is great dining in a unique setting.

Three people in my party ordered the Ahi Tuna. It was $44 and was not sushi grade tuna. It was low quality and what I would get at Houlihans Pub. I was so disappointed in the quality of this meal at such a high price restaurant. It was embarrassing since I recommended the restaurant to our friends. I am surprised they are still in business .

Everyone on the staff is very friendly and respectful, and eager to please. The food is absolutely delicious and beautifully prepared. We don't eat seafood but the freshwater fish is outstanding and salads, sides, and starters are delicious. It's a small area so loud groups can be a bit annoying, but tolerable. We have been there before and we will definitely go back. Valet parking.

EXCELLENT, SUPERB & MAGNIFICENT!! To good to be true?? The answer is NO We were a party of four . All of us agreed that the moment we walk into to Barney's , we had a very friendly greeting from the hostess. Then the waitstaff took over. They could not have been more attentive. Finally the cuisine was the best of all. Our starters were Crab Cake and a beet salad. Our mains were swordfish , Filet Mignon & Chicken Piallard . Desserts did not disappoint, Key Lime Pie & Flourless Chocolate Cake. Thank you for a wonderful experience!!!
