“I ended up at Rustic Root twice this weekend. Once for lunch with my hubby. Great Caesar (we shared), followed up with delicious burgers and fries…best buns ever! I liked the vibe so much that when a friend wanted to meet up for a nice glass of wine, that became our destination. Super friendly bartender Hailey, pointed us to the perfect glass tonight. We paired it with a yummy flatbread to share. Great vibe, great food, great service!“

“The Audrey is such a nice addition to the town of Oyster Bay. Finally , somewhere to go with live music , DJ and Karaoke nights. The food is excellent with a variety to pick from. The bar feels like you are sitting in your own home.
The bartenders serve a nice pour on a glass of wine ? .
Kendra, Giulia and the other bartenders are so knowledgeable on different hard liquor drinks . When I’m undecided ? on what to drink they always come up with something great.

“Food was surprisingly good and flavorful. Service was very good, attentive and reasonably quick given packed house for Sunday brunch. Espresso martini was rich and yummy, the Turkish latte was also good, and huevos rancheros with steak was delicious. We will return. Ariel at the bar was super helpful.“

“My best friend lives in Queens so she and I come to the Onion Tree every other Friday night. I wish this place was closer to me. I live in Yonkers. The food is superb, seasoned extraordinarily. The chicken is fresh, soft and cut into small bites. I always order chicken tikka masala, butter chicken, or chicken tikka pizza. I have never had food that I enjoyed this much and I have tried all foods all over the world. I never get tired of this place. And the food is served quickly and piping hot. They’re opening a second place in Manhattan. We’re getting closer to Yonkers!! The drinks are awesome too. Barbra and Louis work behind the bar. They’re friendly and great bartenders.“

“As always I give this restaurant 5 stars. Met friends for dinner on Sunday night. The service is exceptional. All of us had something different and we all enjoyed our food. My friend did a price fixed with filet of sole and said it was delicious. The brussel sprouts appetizer was excellent. We also started with fried calamari, though small portion, was good. I had a hamburger which was huge with the onions and musrooms. The burger was cooked to perfection. The other two in our party also finished their food. It was very quiet so we were able to communicate easily with our friends.“

“We actually never went to this location before, but had greatly enjoyed their prior second location in Port Washington. Expectaions were right on point. Food was excellent from appetizer to the main course. Maybe it's weird but I kind of respect even the small things like when a restaraunt offers to chose to serve in house brewed ice tea as opposed to something pre processed. The Brisket from todays specials list was perfect. This restaurant is 45min drive from home and well worth the trip. Thank You, we will be back.“

“I recently visited this place when my brother and I could not get in afew days before. It is a good place with a few options, even though the menu is slightly limited. However, this more of a place to drink than eat. Only problem with this place is that it is only open 5 hours (5pm to 10pm) everyday sonforget about getting brunch or lunch. As a result of that prices are up a little. Overall though, it is a good experience. It is worth the visit.“

“Eight of us had a marvelous dinner last night. My wife and I got there early so we sat at the bar and had a drink first while waiting for the others to arrive. The bartender, Alaina (sp?) was beyond lovely and made marvelous cocktails. The food was delicious, the presentation was wonderful and we received excellent service. “We were able to snag a table for two at the last minute with the help of a very accommodating hostess. We spent 10 minutes waiting at the bar, where the bartender was quick, efficient and friendly. Our table was a cozy (not cramped) corner booth for two and the seating was very comfy. Laraine was our sever and she was great. Attentive without intruding. Quick without being frantic. Excellent excellent service. The food was delicious and served hot. There is nothing that we would change about our visit except we should have tried this restaurant sooner!“

The waitress assigned to our table took a long time to bring us a dessert menu, and after we asked another server, he told us they only had one option for dessert - couldn't our waitress have told us that, instead of telling us that she would get a dessert menu - that didn't even exist!? Then there was an even longer span of time getting our check to us. Perhaps these servers are tasked with more than they can handle, but when people dine out, there is an expectation of good, courteous, prompt service. I do not blame the wait staff, as they are just young people trying to earn some extra cash. The fault is with leadership being short sighted with the insufficient staff numbers, especially on a busy night. Come out - talk to the patrons, explain the wait, offer a discount if needed... Anything to prevent a negative review! Food was great - no issues there, but the taste did not erase the feeling about the poor service. I would come back, but please do better.“

“This is a long overdue review of a holiday party held at The Clubhouse. Brian was extremely responsive and flexible in working out open bar options and a menu of appetizers and for us. We were a group of around 30 women, so we did not have the place to ourselves completely, but Brain let us have the majority of the room, keeping a few tables closest to the door open for other patrons. It was a Sunday evening, after the brunch crowd, so it was fairly quiet aside from our group. We were able to decorate the tables a bit, but the restaurant was also nicely decorated for the holidays. Brian gave us a very reasonable price and the food was excellent! The bartenders were friendly and kind, and overall, it was a wonderful night. This is the second year in a row we have held our event at The Clubhouse. I highly recommend The Clubhouse if you are looking for a fun, casual gathering spot for a group.“

“Husband & I were in the area & decided to stop in for lunch today & glad we did. I had the Lamb Gyro, came w/french fries & Beef Barley soup. Soup was delicious. Gyro had plenty of meat (lamb) w/lettuce, tomatoes & onions. All very fresh. Husband had Falafel which he said was absolutely delicious. We had a great lunch. The staff were very nice and attentive & restaurant was cheerful & clean. We will definitely be coming back to try their dinner next time. Highly recommend Opa Grille.“
