“Fantastic catering. This was our 3rd time catering heros and first catering hot food. Was a little nervous getting Italian trays for just a deli… but man did they not disappoint!!! “The food was amazing, I got the Texas Hold ‘em but with grilled chicken and they did an amazing job. They cook the chicken/bacon right in front of your eyes, plus the food tastes incredibly fresh. I recommend getting one of their panini’s, they know what they are doing and most likely what they have on the menu is a really good idea.The place has a huge drink selection on the wall, a few shelves full of chips, and the menu is incredibly easy to read and it actually includes the ingredients which you don’t see anymore nowadays.The staff was super nice and took your order quickly, somehow the (I believe manager) remembered my order (Texas hold ‘em with grilled chicken) in just three visits.Sadly soon I’ll have to leave New York and won’t be able to eat here anytime soon, but I will remember this place.“

“Two days ago I stopped in for a big breakfast. Everything is cooker and prepared right infront of you, everything is clean and the staff there is ontop of getting to you right away.

The wait is normal considering this is a made to order spot and cooked with care.

We got a couple of sandwiches a side of homefries and pancakes that was straight out of this world.

You wonder how some places the breakfast has no taste, almost like it’s just generic bacon egg and cheese on a plain roll and you’re gone in under a minute.

This is not that!

The food here is delicious, the bread is on point, the grill and store is clean, they care about making the food perfect and it really shows. Hats off to them 10/10

Oh and a side note that sealed the deal is the Iced coffee comes with coffee ice cubes!“

“I was in a super rush to get to the airport this morning and I had a family of eight to feed before I get there I called Moshe at the Giant bagel store and gave him the order over the phone and 10 Minutes later the food was waiting for me all packed in bags and boxes Moshe and his wonderful staff even his wife came to the rescue I can’t thank them enough. “It's a good bagel outside of the 5 boroughs. I usually stop by here before a road trip to pick up a quick breakfast. The bagels are good, the staff is nice and the turnaround time is quick. I like to get the roast beef omelet on a bagel but I've tried sesame bagels with creamcheese and it was pretty in-line with a brooklyn bagel.“

“I just want to start off by saying that the bagels at Maru Bagel are SIGNIFICANTLY smaller then the average size bagel you would get at another breakfast / bagel store. I paid $18 for 3 bagels and an orange juice. With that being said… they have a wide selection of options of lunch foods (sandwiches) and breakfast wraps and egg specialities. I love coming here because it is local and they have a GREAT selection of cream cheeses. They by FAR have the BEST pumpkin cream cheese in the area. YOU MUST try to the cinnamon French toast bagel with the pumpkin ? cream cheese you will love it!“

As we all know, the bagel places around Bellmore and Merrick close around 2-3pm, and when I saw Bagel Chalet were still opened, I decided to come here! Glad I did too! I ordered an American Hero, sides of macaroni salad, and potato salad, and a piece of the banana bread. They got right to making my order and the wait time was less than 5 minutes. My sandwich was fresh, crisp, and delicious. The salads were creamy and had great flavor. The banana bread was outstanding; dense and sweet and flavorful. The total for food and a drink was less than $25 which was a great value. I’ll be back.“

They have the best bacon and egg sandwiches and their tuna and chicken salads are always a welcome sight back home. Their bagels are always fresh and flavorful no matter what variety I get.
