“My family wanted to try a new place for dinner this weekend and Jamesons was it. The atmosphere is warm and inviting so we felt comfortable the moment we walked in. Our waitress Sarah was great...super friendly and made us feel right at home. We ordered the French Onion soup (excellent) and Pretzel Sticks (ok) as appetizers. The French Onion soup ($12) was very delicious but the pretzel sticks ($12) we probably wouldnt order again. There were 2 Pretzels to the order which my wife and I thought was a little pricey for what they were. My 7 year old ordered the chicken fingers and fries which were better than I had expected them to be. My wife ordered the Fish and Chips ($25) - super tasty, very fresh, and cooked to perfection. I ordered the Reuben ($24) super yummy which was a special for the evening. My wife and I both agreed after sharing that both meals were excellent. Key Lime Pie and a cappuccino finshed us off both of which did not disappoint. Overall, food and presentation were top notch and the service was excellent ---Thanks again Sarah! My wife and I both felt it was a little pricey but we would definitely go back.“

“One of the best bars in Nassau. Great friendly staff, they make you feel like one of the crew quickly. Great drinks with a wide selection of Beam. As far as the food goes, there is not better place to get wings in the county. Wide range of heat and flavors, always made to perfection. Then of course there is the pizza that will beat most pizzerias round. They almost have a restaurant menu in a bar. There is not better place to watch any sports from horse racing to football and everything in between. The place has a lot of modern TVs so getting the game you want is pretty easy (just ask). Yes they do have WiFi as well. Highly recommend this bar.“

Liz is the best and was t there when I was there but these young kids bartenders needs to pay attention the older customers who will tip better if they are given better service . The owner, Shawn, is friendly, respectful, and knows his stuff. When he took over The Irish Pub, he made it a point to get involved as an active part of the community and create an inclusive atmosphere. This bar and its patrons, especially on karaoke nights (every other Friday) with NV Entertainment, are a lively bunch so you'll be sure to have a good time. It does get crowded at times, especially during karaoke, but that's how you know it's a great place to be!

They have a new menu and I hadn't tried the burgers yet, so I figured I'd give the Bruin Burger a shot. I was having so much fun that I had to save the burger and fries for the next day, so it was wrapped up to go. Even next day, it DID NOT disappoint! Pop it in the air fryer and you're golden. No excuse not to get a good meal from here, even if you don't drink.

Last but not least, Big Los behind the bar is always helpful. Seeing I ordered a few drinks (and I have small hands), he picked them up with ease and brought them all to the table for me. I notice things like that because how many times have you been to a busy bar and the bartender just pours your drinks, takes your money, and you have to figure out how to get them over to your table without spilling? Los took the guesswork out of it. Thank you, Los!

“I ate several meals here over a 4 night stay. Breakfast is delicious and the burrito is out of this world. Dinners are great and I especially loved the seafood pasta. Nice casados as well. “This place has great food and service and has undergone some renovation recently,which gives the place a nice fresh look. You can't tell that the bar has been open for 65years as it barely looks a day over 30. They had good live music when we were there and I was also thrilled that they had quick draw lottery to play as I enjoyed the food. A definite gem of a pub. If I lived closer,I would likely frequent this establishment.

Parking: There's street parking for free that is limited and a parking lot with meters very close where it's .25 cents per 30 minutes with FREE parking on Sundays and holidays
