About Ugly Duckling - Long Beach

The Ugly Duckling restaurant offers a unique dining experience with its eclectic ambiance, often featuring themed events and decorations. The restaurant excels in its drink selection and service, with highlights such as the Taylor Swift dinner and Martini tasting board. However, some customers have been disappointed by menu changes that have led to the removal of popular items, like the Captain Crunch wings.

Recent reviews suggest that the restaurant's holiday-themed pop-up events, such as the Winter Wonderland, create a festive atmosphere, but the menu may need improvement. While the staff is praised for their kindness, especially towards young children, some customers have found the food quality to be inconsistent, with small portions and dry, salty dishes. Overall, the Ugly Duckling provides an additional holiday vibe to the town, with the potential to enhance the dining experience further.

We attended the Winter Wonderland Pop-up. The atmosphere was great! It definitely captures the holiday spirit and gets you in the holiday mood. However, the menu could have been a little better and offered their regular menu items. The chicken sandwich was small, and the chicken fingers were a little dry and salty. If the menu improves, we will be back next year.
Two young kids were helping the waiter very sweet young boys. Made for a nice holiday pop up. Santa and ms clause came around and gave my kids a good smile. My boys were rowdy and the staff was very kind about it.

Kid-friendliness: I have two toddler boys, and the staff were not annoyed by their excitement.
Went for a Christmas Pop Up. The idea was great, but the organizers will need a few more years of experience running something like this. Drinks were great, but food was less than drive-through quality. Overall, it brought an additional holiday vibe to the town of Long Beaxh.
