“A rare 5 stars from me. Make sure you find him, he's in a row of random food stalls and is a bit nondescript compared to them.

Price is now $10 for falafel sandwich but still the best value meal in all Manhattan. Very generous with the fillings, cutlery and napkins etc and he also gave two pieces of fried dough with it which was a nice surprise.

Drinks priced very reasonably at $2 each only.

This stall practices all-in pricing so the price advertised is what you get. Hats off to it“

“Delicious Authentic Middle Eastern falafel and shawarma. It's a place that focuses on just that, but does it really well. Every element of the 'sandwich' is made to perfection! “This is not a place you come to for atmosphere. This is a place for delicious falafel and other Middle Eastern foods, like shakshuka, kibbeh, etc., all vegetarian, since it's kosher dairy. The food is authentic Israeli-style. The staff is friendly, too. I don't wear a yarmulke, my wife doesn't cover her arms, and they serve us, and everyone I've seen walk through the doors with a smile. Good food and civility are universal. “An inexpensive, tasty hole in the wall survives in Union Square! Delicious falafel and decent shawarma in an overstuffed pita. Ridiculously low prices. Make sure to bring lots of napkins and consider eating in Union Square, as they're full of drippy goodness. The owners are efficient and down to business, but warm up after repeat visits.“

“Food is delicious as hell and I like the energy and people are polite, but I did ask if I could replace the baba ganoush with a different appetizer, they clarified I didn't want baba ganoush, and then it was very much in my falafel platter. I just kinda. Hate eggplant but also food waste and I didn't want them to have to toss my platter or whatever if I asked for it fixed. They also skipped the hot sauce and I asked for a LOT of hot sauce. It made me sad.“

“Full disclosure, I know and really love the owner and his family. However, even if I didn’t , which I do, I’d give this five stars. Pizza is fresh and delicious, the place is spotless and they are always cleaning, portions are plentiful, the falafel is fantastic and I love how they warm up the pita to give the sandwich a nice crunch. Service is great. When we got there no one knew we were friendly with the owner but we were treated as if we were. Everyone was. Fast, efficient and good. Also, love the large seating area in the back. Great spot!“

“These street carts were peppered all over NYC. Am unsure why certain carts have longer queues than the rest even though they were all from the same franchise. Nothing much to comment on the taste. I didn't like the mess on the plate which was heavily slathered in white sauce. Reasonably priced. Portions are huge.“
