My mom and I were visiting a family member at the nearby hospital and we wanted to get some lunch. She specifically wanted shrimp tacos and when we asked if they had them we were in luck because it was on their specials that day! We sat down around 2:30pm on a Saturday and we had a calm delicious lunch! I had the chicken tacos with some guacamole on the side. My portion was filling for me. The staff were upbeat and kind which we always love to see. I would definitely recommend a stop here!!

We visited Gordo’s Cantina a few days ago and were really impressed with the quesadillas and margaritas — both were fantastic. The tacos, on the other hand, were a bit dry, so I’d probably skip those next time. The service was excellent throughout the visit and the prices are reasonable.

it was like the wait staff was angry we showed up. listen people, it’s not my fault you decided to take this shift. there’s no need to be so mean. maybe our waitress just had a hate kink. essentially a free for all to get any kind of service. frankly, i thought it was one of those situations where the servers are mean but the food is good enough to not care. but no. food was pretty tasteless and came out way too fast. like give me a moment to just sit with my drink and relax. the drinks weeeere pretty decent i must say. but overall, would avoid! save yourself the stomach ache and the money

Returned a year later - it felt mediocre. Had the steak quesadillas - lacking flavor. Nothing stood out.

Nice spot, and the drinks were decent. However, the quesadillas I ordered were overly oily,the tortilla was soaked, which made them hard to enjoy. I wouldn’t recommend them. The guacamole trio was just okay, but it lacked salt and didn’t taste as fresh as I expected.
