“We've visited Laduree in Paris, Tokyo, Singapore, NYC and Toronto. This iconic French brand has the most beautiful + yummy macarons anywhere. Paris (mothership) and Toronto also have the prettiest cafes. The Madison store is well-situated but more table space would allow customers to enjoy both the patisserie's incredible treats and the sites/sounds of the Upper Eastside. Oct 2024 - still a wonderful oasis on the Upper Eastside. Delicious Plaisir Sucre + Eugenie.“

“So pleasantly surprised to see other reviews mention this as well! I was ordering mochi donuts and debated picking my last flavor, when the lady behind the counter mentioned the s’mores flavor was really popular and that it didn’t contain gelatin. She saw me in a hijab and abaya and knew to inform me that I could even consider the s’mores flavor as an option. For religious dietary reasons, I usually don’t bother gravitating towards anything with marshmallow, as most places use pork gelatin. I left the shop smiley about customer service and trying a flavor I don’t usually have the luxury of getting. This kind of service where vendors are culturally aware is rare - even in a diverse city like NYC. Definitely was a first time experience at a place that doesn’t explicitly cater towards Muslims or halal eating customers & it meant so much!! Donuts were delicious- everything else looked really cute and yummy too! Much love ????“

“I live in Florida, but I wanted to send Halloween-themed baked goods for my sons and daughter-in-law in Jersey City. Baking Mama delivered delicious cookies, cupcakes, and brownies on time right to their door. My kids said they were delicious and they looked great in the photos they sent. Two thumbs up!“

“With so many great coffee shops around, this one is my favorite. Cozy with soft music and local kid art on the walls. Great coffee and service. There is a small step to get in and gets hard with a stroller, someone always runs over to offer help. Absolutely adore this place“

“I have a peanut allergy and this place is not peanut allergy friendly. They did tell me they weren’t a nut free facility, but I ordered a regular brownie and a regular chocolate chip cookie and they both had nuts in them! At least enough to make me have a reaction. Will probably not be back.“

“Soldiers is getting bad, I'm not sure if they changed the chef but I waited all week to get the stew peas and rice which had no seasoning, none, not even salt and pepper in when I call to inform the Of this error they had attitude think I was going to move my car and come back for a refund (which is what they hope for) 2nd Saturday morning 9am I buy food because I don't want stale food 2nd time the fried dumpling are drenched in cold oil and and then breakfast cold Not sure what you want to do but but uncooked hard meat is killing black folks and not listening isnt working neither.“

“This is an amazing location and great standard ! Amazing management and staff . Harmann served me and was EXCEPTIONAL!! A+ Grade A Standout Memorable Attentive Harmann speaks multiple languages , knows the menu inside and out and is incredibly knowledgeable about Laduree . I was transported back to the flagship location in Paris 👌🏿🙌🏿🇫🇷 This is hospitality ! He created a great experience for me and recommended items for brunch and to take home as gifts ! He truly deserves to be recognized. Keep up the great atmosphere and global standard of Laduree !“

“I like this location better than the York avenue location. The space is bigger and the service seems more pleasant depending on who you get. Is also more centrally located than the York avenue location which is closer to the edge of the island.“

“If I’m speaking honestly, after trying this place, regular bubble tea just doesn’t do it for me anymore! The staff was very welcoming and friendly and was very patient with me and my obnoxious questions. I walked out very happy and pleased, this is my new go to boba spot!“
