“I have had Poke Crew in Englewood and was stoked to hear it was coming closer to home in Hackensack, happy to report it did not disappoint! Bowls were great, Ma got The Crew and I had the Spicy Tuna. Love the option to build your own using a paper and pen system with all the options so you can fully customize your bowl from proteins to toppings and garnishes and not have to scramble at the counter while ordering. Drinks were good too - Kona coffee bubble tea is strong and not too sweet, while the jasmine honey kumquat shaken iced tea was refreshing. Will be back!!“

I went for the Avocado Salad and added chicken, and it was fresh, colourful, filling and really tasty. Exactly what I needed. Next time though, I’ve definitely got my eye on the Huli Huli Hawaiian Hot Plate 😋

“Great poke spot! Reviewing after my third visit. Unlimited number of toppings unlike other poke places! Just gotta pay extra for that avocado. Food is fresh, staff is friendly and competent, store is clean, and good selection of other food/drink items!

“One of my favorite poke spots in New York City! The food is always fresh and the portion sizes are really solid. I also really enjoy the variety of sauces and flavors they offer.

I regularly go to this location for take out; but everytime I go, the staff is welcoming and the restaurant looks very clean. Special shoutout to Sasum who works on Thursdays and is always a friendly face!

Would highly recommend for anyone looking for fresh poke in the area. Their app is really great for order ahead too!“

“SO happy a poke store finally opened up in east village. Not only are the ingredients so fresh, but they have so many unique toppings and mix ins ive never seen else where- coconut, walnut, pumpkin seeds, after having my first bowl here I can’t go back to any other shop. And to think it couldn’t get better than this, the staff is just AMAZING. They’re beyond friendly and sweet and I genuinely felt like I made 3 new friends after leaving the place. If you have room for dessert, I highly recommend the Thai tea or coconut slush. I’m a tapioca girl but they recommended we try the lychee jelly and HOLY SMOKES I’m now a lychee jelly girl it was DELICIOUS. I’ll be back ASAP“

“I was walking near Smith and Atlantic looking for a place to eat when I discovered Piki Poke & Ramen. The menu immediately caught my attention, and the atmosphere, paired with smooth jazz music and made it even more inviting.

I ordered the Salmon Lover Bowl, and it exceeded my expectations. The salmon was exceptionally fresh, the combination of sauces was perfectly balanced, and the avocado and toppings complemented everything beautifully. The portion size was just right and satisfying without being overwhelming.

This was a genuinely enjoyable experience, and I left very happy. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a high-quality, well-crafted poke bowl in a relaxed and welcoming setting.

“While I usually am not a fan of Ramen, the Ramen that I had at this location made me rethink my tastes. The selection of Ramen was wide enough for me to feel lole there were options, and the customer service alongside it was great. Such kind workers who had so much patience with my groups slow commitment to a meal. Would recommend to anyone!“

“The food here was great. We added this as a random stop on our way home and it did not disappoint. The dumplings were so perfectly crispy. We ordered several different specialty rolls and they food came out so quickly. It's nothing special on the inside but a lot of the best places aren't! “I was looking around for a Poke place to eat as this is what I was craving and found this. The person taking care of my order was patient and nice. The only reason why I'm not giving a 5 star is the mistake he made giving me spicy salmon instead of salmon....I strongly dislike spicy food due to the lower tolerance I have for it, but I dont want to waste my bowl. Service was quick, ingredients looked fresh which I appreciate at this time of night as it was an hour before closing. Next time if I ever stop by this part of Manhattan again and come around here, ill double check to make sure with the person that it is regular salmon and clarify that.“

“Food is really good but can be a bit inconsistent with freshness. I go here 1-2x a week but sometimes the mango can be rotten and stringy, so not sure why they even bother serving that… and the tuna can be kinda fishy. Only sometimes though!“

“We ate here twice out of 5 nights in NYC for a healthy, low carb meal. The Poke Bowl has great non-carb bases such as cauliflower rice, zucchini noodles (not really noodles but cut zucchini to look noodle’ish), and kale/lettuce. I added teriyaki salmon, spicy salmon (sushi style) and shrimp and plenty of other vegetables, crunchy toppings, and sauces. There are a few tables for those that want to dine in.“

“I have been going to chikarashi on and off since they first opened. The ingredients are quite good and the bowl recipes unique but the price hiking is saddening. It used to be a weekly lunch to every other week. The food is worth trying at least once.“

I let them know about the mistake, and they fixed it right away, which I appreciated. The only thing that stood out was that no one apologized for the mix-up. Overall, it was still a decent experience, but a simple apology would have been great.“

They’ll customise your order as much as you want, and once when I (clumsily) tripped and dropped my food as soon as I walked out the door they remade my order for free!“
