I took my girlfriend here on a whim, she just wanted sushi. Ended up being the best sushi she’s had in Queens. The $60 omakase was so good we actually went back maybe a week later, which is really saying something cause we always try to go somewhere different.If you’re looking for a good meal at a place that doesn’t get crazy busy in the Astoria area - definitely worth it. Also the chicken katsu is awesome, it’s like two huge chicken pieces cut up.

Best omakase in the states!!! You can get the same quality omakase as the $$$$ ones in manhattan for a tiny fraction of the price. From SF, LA to NYC, haven’t found any omakase that beats the quality per price here!The pictures are from the premium 14-piece omakase set. :)
This hidden spot in Astoria deserves so much more recognition for its omakase. Not only is Chef Alex so thoughtful in his preparation, but the fish is so fresh and delicious. Chef Alex is so passionate about each piece he serves, and has created such a wonderfully unique menu. The price point is so fair for the quality and service. I could not recommend this place more, I will definitely be back.

I moved to Astoria 4 years ago and since then i would come here and order take out all the time to the point that one of the servers would recognize my voice on the phone. She was the best! Attention was awesome but since covid happened I stopped eating out. Last year 2023 around jan-feb I decided to come back and was excited to show my husband this place. Just to be served like we were trash. The lady literally throw the placemat and chopsticks at us and also dropped the menu. When i would try to talk to her she would walk away. I left right away. I don’t know what happened to the other lady who used to worked there but they need to bring her back:( I didn’t left a review back then bc i really liked this place but recently I went by to order takeout and im not sure if she is the same server that treated us like that but she for sure was just as rude. This place is awesome and could do way better if they fire the rude servers.

Well, I'll say this. The ingredients are incredibly fresh. The portions leave much to be desired, but the food prep quality overall is truly fantastic. Price? Not worth it. Service? Needs serious improvement.If price isn't an issue and you want what might possibly be some of the freshest sushi in this area, then go for it.
Very fresh fish. We did the “omakase for 2” experience and they allowed us to do it for 3 people by adding one of each of the pieces so that was great. They're super nice and accommodating. They had all the favorites like the wagyu, botan ebi, madai, uni, toro, salmon pieces.

WOW this was my first Omakase experience and it was amazing!!!! I learned so much and everything was so unique and delicious. 100000/10 I recommend and will definitely be coming back. The flavors were so thoughtful and the quality of fish was really nice. Do yourself a favor and get your butt over here.
