“We went with family and a bunch of friends for a midweek get together. Jake, our server was absolutely amazing. The best I've ever had, and we go out free and around the country. Somehow, in a group of almost 20 people, he learned first names, knew who ordered what, and everything was right. No missing orders, no mistakes. The food itself was great, much better than other restaurants in Watertown area. Its a little out of the way, but so worth it. Everything was hot and fresh, tasted great. Will definitely be back. (Boom boom wings and the drunken fries were crowd faves) but the burgers were great, haddock was great, Caesar wrap was great. Loved it all and it didn't taste like processed, bulk produced food from a chain sit down restaurant. The prices were very reasonable.I will note we went as families with small children in off season. Snowmobile season is done, and it was a week night. The atmosphere for us was great.“
“I refer to Flat Rock Inn as the Icon of Tug Hill. Gordon and his Staff are amazing people, that work very hard, for people to enjoy the Tug Hill experience.Nearby activities: Gordon rents snowmobiles, ATV's, and side by sides, so people can see the beauty that Tug Hill has to offer. On the second weekends of June, July, and August, Flat Rock Inn hosts snowmobile Watercross races. Watching a snowmobile hydroplane at speeds over 60+ mph is something everyone should experience !“
“Is it fancy? No, but that's what I like about this place. The food is good and reasonably priced, the drinks are reasonably priced. You feel no pressure at all to dress up. The atmosphere is friendly. Service tends to be a bit slower than in a typical restaurant but again, it's not fancy. It is clean and it is reasonably priced, try the specials here, they're great! They have awesome chicken wings!“
“I sadly won't probably be at the Wicked Bad Apple in the near future, the last time I was in that town was 40+ years ago. I must say though if I ever do get up in that area again, you can bet I will DEFINITELY stop there again!! It was a really nice place inside and outside, the food was great and it was comfortable! Only 2 negative things I could think of is there was only one guy working and he had to do everything, and not much in area of seating for dinner. It's primarily a bar so those 2 things are very very minor!!“
“This is a great little restaurant that is largely ignored by out-of-state snowmobilers. I'm certainly not complaining; my crew and I enjoy the mainly-locals vibe and the friendly and welcoming service.From the very first time we walked in, the staff (including the owner, Suzie) made us feel at home. And the food...I've never had a single meal here that wasn't a home run. It's all delicious!“
