Great views, great food good drinks and friendly service. We've only ever been to this place after cycling there from Tilly Foster Rd down the Putnam Trailway but it makes the journey fun to sit on the water after and enjoy the view.

You can tell this restaurant did a great job renovating, the space is beautiful even during the winter. It's great being able to lookout into the sunset. The service was great, polite and patient. The cocktails are a bit eclectic. Tasted like they premade them or used mixers. And wine list is so so. The food... skip. The best is probably their free freshly made flatbread. Their paella is NOT a paella. The chicken, could be better. The apps showed that this place is more of a light bite and hang place than a food spot for now. Hopefully they'll increase the menu quality since they have just reopened

Came Saturday to celebrate my birthday made 6pm reservations and were sat immediately. Unfortunately the service was rushed despite there being plenty of empty seats. we we're still enjoying our appetizer when we we're asked if we we're done and attempted to take our plate. I literally had to tell the server we were on a date night and had a sitter, hinting we were not in a rush but that did not change the service.

Food price / quality (value) rating 8. The atmosphere is contemporary minimalist, with shorefront views of Lake Mahopac. We sat outside on the dock. I had the Parmesan Crusted Chicken cutlet with roasted Brussels sprouts and mixed veggies. The wife had the sea scallops. Both were very good, prepared and presented nicely. The meal came with home made bread but no salad. They had a very limited beer menu, with no draught choices The prices were high, but not ridiculous. If a small salad had been included, that would have bumped the value rating up a point. Service was good.

This place took a big hit from a few years ago!! The place is nice but lost the ambiance and don't get me started on the food. The food was lacking of seasoning they don't use salt on anything it seams. The crab cake was served with burnt onions and the calamari was lacking any seasoning. The risotto was hard and had to be returned!! Not only was the food bad but expensive $300 bucks for dinner for 2 people

Went there for the first time tonight with a friend. Wish I hadn't. Its really super overpriced. It's right on the lake, and that is the big attraction, but that gets old quickly when the music is blaring, the food is lousy and expensive to boot. Service was also horrible. All we ordered were 2 Arugula salads, yet they screwed it up. The salad dressing was missing from my friend's salad, and the goat cheese was missing from mine. When we asked them for the goat cheese, they came back with more salad dressing. Hahaha... stay away and save your money. By the way, each tasteless salad came with about $1 worth of Arugula, $1 worth of goat cheese, and 25 cents worth of shaved almonds - and they charged us $19 per salad! Man, at least if it was tasty... tasted like nothing... like eating grass.

The ambiance is absolutely lovely but the food is overpriced for the quality. This is the second time I've gone back to give it another shot but I don't think I'll be going a third time unless the kitchen gets a makeover. Too bad -- such a gorgeous location!

Epic fail for a very overpriced menu. Most of the meals were brought out wrong. Steaks were very over cooked. We asked for the steaks med with nothing one them and they brought them out twice well done and smothered in sauce. The scallop Risotto was just tasteless. The chicken Milanese was hard & dry. We left hungry. It's too bad since the view is wonderful. Waitress tried but the runners don't even known what they are serving and can't answer you. We won't be back.

Don't get me wrong the view is amazing! Ordered a appetizer of burratta with odd thick slices of prosciutto. The meatballs came out tasting like a bag of Swedish frozen ikea balls. The hair in my salad. Hair in my wrapped utensils. The server constantly reaching over me. For paying $28 per glass of moscato I should have bought a bottle at the store and drank in bed with my dog. To sweeten the deal we were served complementary frozen Delizza Puffs Cream Mini Belgian $8.99 count of 30 at your local grocery store. Save your money! I remember when the food was good but this is not the case anymore.

The service was poor. Of course, the view is magnificent. The food used to be delicious, but in the past few months, it has declined. I don't understand what happened to the restaurant???

Since my initial review, I've noticed things have been going downhill--ever so slowly. Let me set the scenario: Sat. night, 7:30, reservation. Arrived on-time and despite their little parking lot jammed full, the dining area was only about half full. We were a party of two and asked if we could sit (inside) but basically outside near the glass doors which were open. The reason we wanted to do this is because there is a huge difference being inside (on the border of outside) in-terms of bugs and the size of the table. We were told "no'" because we were only two, and we had to sit at a tiny two seat table outside and be eaten alive during dinner--not a good start! Then, we were not allowed to put in an appetizer order without putting in our dinner order, which frankly for the money we were going to spend, is unacceptable! The worst part of the evening was they close at 10 p.m., and at 10, they really go 'out of their way' to make you uncomfortable where you WANT to leave. This may have been the final visit here...

Nice anniversary dinner on a rainy day, but thanks to the covering over the back deck we were still able to sit outside and enjoy the view. Food was delicious and the staff was very accommodating and pleasant.

Fabulous view as the restaurant is "open" onto the dock. Drinks were delish as well as the food. Ordered the Caesar salad and Greek salad; both were fresh and the right amount of dressing. Fried calamari was tender and tasty. My husband & his friend had the Lakehouse Chicken and really enjoyed it. I had the Rigatoni Bolognese which was fabulous with the meat in the sauce being very tender. My friend had the Linguini with White Clam sauce and said it was excellent. We both love that dish but the last few times we ordered it elsewhere, they were misses. This one last night was a hit. The only thing I'd change would be to install ceiling fans. It was incredibly hot & humid even though we inside enough to avoid being hit by the sun. All in all, everything was fantastic including the service.
