“Been coming here for a few years and I love this place! The staff is always friendly and their baked good are delicious! I never mind the trip even though it’s a bit far from me because it’s well worth it! Perfect to get something for any occasion or just to stop by for a sweet treat. Highly suggest trying any of their pastries with fresh fruit and cream as the fruit is always fresh and the cream is perfectly sweetened!“

He was such a humble and kind soul and even offered for me to wait in the car to which he would bring out the food for us but we opted to wait inside for the food and had a great conversation and a few laughs. Food came out quick and was delicious. Whatever that smashburger sauce is was so good. We THOROUGHLY enjoyed the twist donuts. “The food was amazing, I got the Texas Hold ‘em but with grilled chicken and they did an amazing job. They cook the chicken/bacon right in front of your eyes, plus the food tastes incredibly fresh. I recommend getting one of their panini’s, they know what they are doing and most likely what they have on the menu is a really good idea.The place has a huge drink selection on the wall, a few shelves full of chips, and the menu is incredibly easy to read and it actually includes the ingredients which you don’t see anymore nowadays.The staff was super nice and took your order quickly, somehow the (I believe manager) remembered my order (Texas hold ‘em with grilled chicken) in just three visits.Sadly soon I’ll have to leave New York and won’t be able to eat here anytime soon, but I will remember this place.“

“We had the best experience ever with this bakery - the cake was included in our venue pricing through this bakery, and I can definitely see why! Working with Alison to schedule and have our tasting, which was just down right fun...(because of COVID we had to take our samples home... and she loaded us up with some extras to share with friends) to showing her our vision for the cake on the day of, and then actually SEEING and EATING it at our wedding was perfect all the way through. They really incorporated everything we asked for, and it was simply delicious!!! This is the same bakery that was immortalized at the Brooklyn Children’s Museum, and has a cult following for its conchas, tamales and milanesa and pierna tortas. The Westbury location is also tended by members of Don Paco López’ family so quality is guaranteed. The bread is fresh, made daily (by hand). I had an order or Bavarian cream-filled churros for a school event and they were a smashing hit. Give it a try, you won’t regret it.

“I go to Diane’s all the time for coffee and baked goods, at least once a week. I invited new moms and dads from the Roslyn school today for a gathering at Diane’s this morning to support local business. We had about 12 people. Sat outside at the patio where the shaded area was. Everybody all bought coffee and pastries. We arranged the tables and chairs in a long row so we could see each other. Later we were told by Diane, the owner, that she wasn’t happy that we rearranged her tables and sat together in a row. Why? The place wasn’t crowded with other guests. We all bought and paid for goods. I couldn’t help but thinking that because we were all Asians?! She could ask us kindly to put the tables and chairs back once we finish, which we did without being asked at the end. But with the unwelcoming remarks I will never come to support this business again. I don’t say this lightly but I felt it was discrimination in every way. I’m truly disappointed. I love Diane’s and the yummy treats but the owner was truly unkind. I share this post here because I don’t think this business supports diversity, which is a shame because this community is becoming more and more diversified.“
