“The food here tastes good and feels comforting, the desserts are sweet and authentic, the staff is attentive, and the place itself has a lot of personality and history despite its compact scale. The prices are incredibly affordable. They only accept cash so keep that in mind. I highly recommend this place for a quick bite of popular Chilean dishes.“
“This is the kind of place I have been looking for since moving to valley stream. This bakery is nothing more than a door on the side of a brick building. Once you open it, the scent of fresh baked bread invades your senses. It's literally an office space where the bread is kept in a case and the rest of the bakery is closed off. It's not pretty but it doesn't need to be. The pretzel rolls are worth the trip alone. Bagels, loafs, pastries they carry lots and if it's not in they will be baking for later. They aren't open 24 hours any longer usually 7-7 or 6-7 some days.Take the trip, there is no private parking only 15 min street parking in front but it's usually full as it's a busy little street. Find a spot to park on the next block and prepare to enjoy some delicious bread, get the pretzel roll you will thank me later. 5/5 stars“
“Everything came out so so good, the people here were so helpful and nice! The cake looked so beautiful and it literally looked like the reference photo i had! And the best part is the cake was very delicious! Definitely recommend this place!“
“We had a friend's birthday party and the server was very pleasant and kind. The manager even played recorded birthday song and also Spanish dance songs and guests could be able to dance as well. It was not an arranged dance party but the manager was sensible enough to put some Spanish dance songs. We had a great time. Oh! The cake (had caramel in between layers) was absolutely delicious!“
“The place is nice and homely. We got there when it opened and we were seated immediately on a rainy Saturday. As soon as we were seated I felt like I was in my own house. Food took time to come out we were a party of six. Allowed us good time for conversation. Cornbread came out first. Food and service was on point. I don't eat seafood out but tried the Fried whiting that came with grits, home fries, and eggs. All healthy size portions. Lemonades we're off the hook, homemade I think. Didn't have any of the cocktails. I'll try them out next time. The place is nice and clean TVs are all around. Gary our server was very friendly. Overall good experience.Parking: In the back of the restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: Has a ramp.“
“Food: I had several items from them this week. 2 cupcakes 1 boozy red velvet and 1 strawberry crunch. Both were delicious but small. The next item was a coconut pineapple donut. The flavor reminded me of my grandmother's family famous coconut pineapple cake. It was delicious! The final item was a walnut brownie, my coworker ate this and said that it was delicious.“
