“Best hamburger hotdog place that serves great beer near Hosfstra University. Every time I go with my wife to visit our son who is at Hofstra despite trying to go to different venues to grab a bite before we head back to Jersey. We always end up at black label because the food is so good, the service is great the people are very friendly and the service is quick. If you’re in Hempstead or Westbury and looking for a good burger, good hotdog in a simple atmosphere black label is my first choice.“

The food?! AMAZING. Perfectly priced for the quality of what you’re getting. Definitely have the Double Decker with the Maple Beef Bacon! The Panko Chicken Nuggets were crispy, and fresh. The Truffle Fries were seasoned beautifully! Easily one of the most satisfying meals I’ve had in a long time. Excellent portions! It's perfect if you find know what type of bigger you want, because they have a sampler for 40 dollars and it has the best mix of everything so you know what to get the next time. So far I've tried all and you can't go wrong with the classic and the chopped cheese is freaking delicious.“

The server was friendly, but the narrow little restaurant looked a little sad, we thought there would be more people instead of being the only customers. I would go again, however. The lunch menu prices are worth it, and the happy hour from 4pm to 8pm seem worth it, too.“

“OG Fan of Smash House Queens but tnite they really hooked it up. Our 6 year old son has many allergies to the point where he unfortunately has never had the chance to eat at a restaurant. Turns out Smash House Queens has many items created specifically allergy free, and when we went out tnite as family the staff went out of their way to make a special deep fryer run to avoid cross-contamination. Super impressive service alongside terrific Food!“

“This place has decent smash burger compared to the competitors around bayside, flushing, and fresh meadows.

The only critique I have is the double smash burger could be less salty and the burger is a bit dry on the inside (but too dry to the point it makes you want to drink water). Also the wait was a bit long (30min)“

“I’ve been ordering delivery from Chicken is Back for quite some time, and I can tell you that the fried chicken is actually crispy and juicy.

You must get the white garlic sauce if you’re a garlic lover like me. It’s so creamy and good! The spicy original is also really good if you like a little kick. My only complaint is that they put the sauce in such a tiny container, and it’s definitely not enough…

Although they’re known for their fried chicken, don’t sleep on the grilled chicken. It’s a healthier option, but it’s still incredibly juicy and flavorful. Honestly, it surprised me how good it was! As for the crispy batter fries, they’re OK, but honestly, kind of meh.

I do think it’s a little pricey, but I’d say it’s worth trying. Definitely recommend!“
