“Updated 4/19/26
I’ve been coming back over the past few months, and both the food and service have improved so much since my last visit. I really appreciate the staff, especially during busy times. They’re patient, attentive, and make sure everyone is taken care of. I’ll definitely keep coming back!

Old review:
I've been coming to Brueggar's for years and love their bagels. Now that I live out of state, I make sure to visit multiple times and get a bagel when I'm in town.

However The past few times I've come when I visit hasn't been the best quality and service. I usually get multiple plain bagels with butter for my family. There either isn't enough butter or no butter at all.

The staff, particularly management seemed almost annoyed when staff would confirm orders with them. For example the cashier asked their coworker for confirmation of receiving a order and the coworker (almost looked like management) very visibly stopped what she was doing and rolled her eyes at her. It felt really rude to be doing that to a coworker especially in front of customers.

I would love to keep coming back but it's hard to when there is inconsistency in orders and treatment of staff. I hope this changes so I can keep enjoying the bagels!“

“I have been looking for a bialy for some time and while there are plenty of places that make bagels, so few have bialy on their menu. I found the bialy here to have very good texture and flavor, but wish there was more onion and poppy seed, which is very traditional on a bialy.“

“Bruegger's Bagels offers a great selection of freshly made bagels that are perfect for a quick breakfast or a light lunch. The bagels themselves are delicious, with a nice balance of chewy texture and a slight crispness on the outside. The toppings and spreads, including cream cheese, are flavorful and complement the bagels well. While the menu is straightforward, you can customize your bagels with various toppings to suit your preferences.“

“I looooove Brueggers, but they definitely sized down their bagels and for the price it is no longer worth it. I went a couple times over the course of the past 6 months (about 5 times) and the bagel size and quality was inconsistent and small. The texture is okay, but very tough at times and not as chewy. I just think quality has gone down on their bagels, unfortunately. The bagels are not consistently sized and it's pretty sad to see the asiago, plain, or whatever kind bagels look great in the case but the ones they make into a sandwhich on are almost half sized sometimes. It's like they pick the biggest ones for the display case but then use the duds for the actual food made. I like this place and hope they can bring it back to it's former glory! I am a fan and would like to support, but it just seems like quality is dipping for the short term. I'll come back in another month or so and see since I really want them to continue doing well. Seating also good and clean and the staff are also always friendly and helpful. Coffee is good; I like the cold brew and never had a problem with my cups of coffee regardless of what kind I get. All ingredients are fresh and the cream cheese selection is awesome.“
