“I have driven by many times in way to Ithaca and was always intrigued by this place. Finally decided to stop in on thursday around 7pm. The parking lot was jammed with pick up trucks and duallies. Went inside and it was what I expected a real deal American country bar with worn floors, pool table and an old wooden bar with dollar bills stuck all over the ceiling. Bud drafts were $2 and bottles were $2.75. A small very friendly group were having drinks and everyone knew each other. All the trucks were because of thurs night horse shoe tournament in the back where there were at least 20 people playing. Had two quick ones and was on my way. Before I left I hit the head expecting the worst and much to my surprise it was super clean and spotless! So glad I stopped in and would recommend anyone else to do the same.“

“If you ever happen to find yourself in the lobby of Aiello‘s being completely ignored by the hostess and one of the blowhard owners of the restaurant, do yourself a favor: walk back out the door, across the street and into Sparky’s. There you will be greeted by a very friendly person, escorted to your table and receive wonderful service.Chances are, you will be graced by the presence of Mike the owner, who couldn’t be more friendly and personable. You will see him delivering food, busing tables, and helping elderly out to their car to make sure they’re in their vehicle safely.We thoroughly enjoyed our evening and our meal! Can’t wait to go back!P.S. For less than what you would pay at Aiello‘s, you could drive south to Oaks Inn in Endicott and get a true five-star Italian meal.“

“Stopped in for a quick bite, felt like a homey local spot, our waitress although short on staff was very tentative to our table, she was working her tail off making sure all the tables were accommodated and she did it with a smile. All the food was really good and very reasonably priced. Im sure we will stop back in for another service. Would highly recommend if in the area.“
