Very nice atmosphere. Service was super friendly and pleasant if slow. Food was ok, but I really recommend the French onion soup, and their mulled cider is really nice too. Sadly the chili I was hoping for turned out to be a special:'(
We got to the Binnekill Tavern a little late on a Friday night (late up here is 8:15 pm) but the restaurant was pretty full and the waitstaff sat us down quickly and got us some drinks from the bar.We never felt rushed, Sandra was wonderful with the service and the food was very good. The kids said fries specifically were on point. Easter Brunch was booked for 11:30 seating. We arrived at 11:35 and were seated in the bar area. I'm not sure since the dining room was empty. We were then informed that they were not ready. We were offered coffee while we waited. Food was not put out until 12 noon. It was also freezing inside so I assume they didn't time their guests arrival and opened the restaurant at 11:30. We didn't mind the wait for food but at the same time we rushed to get there on time. Perhaps change...read full review
