“I don’t ever write reviews, but this restaurant has never disappointed me and deserves so much love! Honestly not sure why the ratings aren’t higher. So far I have only ordered tacos, but they were so good that I have done so multiple times-and I’m quite a taco obsessed fiend so that’s saying a lot :).In a taco, when there are so few ingredients and toppings beside cilantro and onion to distract you, the quality of the protein really matters. And here, every single protein has been succulent, tender and delicious. I don’t crave guacamole or sauces like I typically do when I’m given bland and chewy meat at other places, these are that good as is. BUT the red and green sauces are necessary to just amp everything up to 11, they have so much complex flavor that I could drink them like soup lol. And usually restaurants disappoint me by giving me red sauces that are barely spicy or even TOO spicy and lacking flavor aside from that; you will not have that problem here! Your nose and eyes may water if you’re weak like me but in my opinion these sauces are the perfect middle between plain savory and super spicy. There’s also such an abundance of meat in each taco that just two are enough for a whole meal!! Doesn’t mean I won’t make myself sick eating 3 more tacos than I should though ;). The cherry on top is that the ladies working here are always so sweet and pleasant, and the interior is so welcoming, bright, and homely. It’s a good location and prices are great too, just go here already!!!!“

“Truly the best Mexican food I’ve had in the city so far. I didn’t know what to expect but the meats and flavor profiles were so developed. We had the tacos, bone marrow, Short rib, bass entree, scallops appetizer, and the rice pudding. Meat was juicy and smoked. Scallops were the softest most pure flavor I’ve had in a while and the spice completely opened up my palate. The bass with its accompanied salad was extremely intricate and well thought out to connect the two. Highly HIGHLY recommend Claro. Definitely coming back to explore the mezcal side of the menu.“

“Honestly, I haven’t even eaten here yet, but if the breakfast burrito is half as good as the owner’s feedback to some of these one-star-reviewing-mouth-breathers.. well.. I’m becoming a regular!2.19.24The ReviewCame and visited this morning on my walk to work. I had a sausage burrito and sat on the porch and devoured it. The eggs were perfectly cooked (creamy and rich, not cooked to death) and the hatch chilies provided just enough heat to keep me interested. People that think these burritos are small need to rethink their worldview. I’m 6ft tall and 220lbs, it was plenty of burrito. And people that are opposed to eating on the street are just soulless folk. I love that one reviewer equated it to being a hobo. Guess you haven’t visited, you know, THE REST OF THE PLANET. Where people eat right out in the open, sometimes in their cars or, gasp (clutches pearls), on a PARK BENCH!That being said, I can’t wait to dine in the restaurant some evening as that burger looks amazing.“

“I love love love this place and order burritos frequently from here as a weekend treat. However, my order is frequently wrong. I would definitely check your burrito before taking it away! I am lactose intolerant and get the veggie burrito with vegan cheese and maybe 25% of the time they give me a chorizo burrito with regular cheese. Today is one of those days ???. I should have checked! I would say that this place would be a nightmare if you have life threatening dietary restrictions.“

“Let's just say this place has a 5 star rating for a reason. ALL the tacos are stellar but my favorite is the brisket (sudadero) - it is the most delicious brisket, wow. Tried the quesadilla this past time and it's sooo gooood, pretty large so it will fill you up! And keep in mind it does get to be a bit greasy but if you're in the mood for that, it will 100% satisfy that craving. I also love the workers there, the main woman at the front is always SO nice and attentive :) it's a small place so not great for big groups, but definitely eat inside if you can!! (They bring out chips and salsa for dine-in) ;)“

“The daily lunch specials are such an amazing value, I thought the quality would suffer because the prices are so reasonable and that’s impossible to find these days! The Rice Bowl/Burrito Wrap is only like $10.75 and the burritos are minimum 5lbs. Ordering is easy and they offer free delivery. I just moved to this area and this is the best food that I have found in the area so far. I have introduced my friends to it and they agree with me; the authentic and delicious food with fresh ingredients, wonderful staff who always greet you with a huge smile. Do yourself a favor and try this place because it is absolutely amazing!“

“Outstanding!Came in very late after missing connecting flight, arrived to hear the kitchen was closing but they allowed me to order last second. All of the staff were attentive, warm and welcoming. The food was great. Guac was solid and the chips had a perfect crunch. Birria was excellent - large portion and great flavor.Felt bad about keeping the kitchen staff late so I bought them a round of beers and was treated like family. I’m sure most feel the same after coming in.Don’t know whether I’ll be in Queens again, but if I am, I’ll be stopping by.Thank you Lime & Salt, topped off a rough day with a great night!“

“First of all I gotta mention how brilliant chef Edger is! His passion for cooking & improvising with new food is respectable! His eyes lights up everytime he gets to talk about his creations , loved that! He was kind enough to make mock-tails for me who doesn’t drink alcohol ! Thank you from the bottom of my heart. The staff were very kind, respectful & helpful! They worked hard from the start to finish. Chef has a good team ! Thank you guys for everything!I am a good lover, travel real far from my island just to try new food. It’s a commitment & lots of hard work. I am happy I was able to come here after getting off from work. And let me tell you it was all worth it, because every item was delicious. Even tho most of the items I have never had but I enjoyed them. So trying something totally new & enjoying it says a lot about the food!I got to try 3 different Mock-tails & I actually enjoyed all of them. Loved the Guacamole the most! Even in my head I was already making new recipes with guacamole lol.First time trying oysters & I liked it. Now I am not afraid to try it again lol! Also tried octopus for the first time & I loved it. I am so glad I was able to come, loved every minute of it.Met some new beautiful faces, tried to make some new friends. End of the day it was a wonderful event . Btw, the restaurant itself is beautiful, not too big. Small, cozy & cute little spot . Thank you Cena for the invite…❤️“

“The reviews are right. This place has great tasting food! We got the J*** chicken with rice and peas and plantains. We also got the wings with Rasta Pasta and plantains. Everything was on point and super flavorful. I highly recommend the wings - they are the best thing we got and the best wings you can get. I will say it was a little more expensive than usual but the portion sizes were good and the food tasted great so its worth it. Highly recommend trying this place.“

“I'm obsessed with Lunera! This Colombian-Mexican gem in Astoria has stolen my heart and taste buds. Their sangria is hands-down my favorite - a perfect blend of fruity and tangy. But honestly, everything on the menu is a must-try! From the mouthwatering churrasco (their specialty, and for good reason!) to the flavorful empanadas and paella , every dish is a masterpiece. The owners are often present, warmly greeting customers and making everyone feel like family. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the service is top-notch. If I had to choose just one favorite, it'd be the churrasco - but honestly, I dream about everything on their menu! Five stars and a permanent spot on my favorite restaurants list. ?? Lunera, you have my heart (and taste buds) forever!“

“It was a beautiful spring day as I was welcomed into the bar area which is fairly large. Many people were there due to st Patrick’s day. The bartender greeted me and I was fortunate enough to meet the owner through a buddy of mine. The beer was nice and cold and the people were friendly. Found a table outside with two young ladies and my bud. We shared frozen margaritas and then they put 90s hip hop and r&b.. my favorite. The sun was setting so we had to go. Highly recommend for a chill night out, will definitely try the food next time!“
