“Neighborhood bar / pubThe Newbridge Inn has been kicking it for a long time now and it has a faithful following of locals that keep the place rocking.Been here a number of times over the years and well, never had a bad experience.Great drinks and bartenders and better than average food are available at the bar.The unexpected and ridiculously good white pizza w onions was a most pleasant surprise- who would have expected such a delight from a place where the typical app is wings or nachos?There is some outdoor space in the rear and the only downside to the place is that parking can be hard to come by - you'll have to park directly on busy Jerusalem ave.Definitely give it a shot - worth a trip just for the pizza“
“Quaint little bar with great wing and drink specials on Wednesdays and has been a quintessential part of the Wantagh bar scene for about as long as I can remember and even before that. You can always count on friendly faces and cold drinks but definitely be prepared to bump some elbows when it gets busy because it gets tight! Plenty of parking both in the from and back of the bar.“
“The aroma of beef and bacon was so amazing walking down Main street, we had to pop in for a quick bite while running some errands. So glad we did. The staff was helpful and attentive. The cocktail menu was clever as well as festive. The menu has all the right snacks and hand helds for one or a group. The events board has something posted for every day of the week. We had the Drunk Chicken Sammy with sweet potato tots and the We're Jammin Burger with battered fries. The vodka sauce with burrata elevated the chicken to the next level. Fig jam and candied bacon on the burger was on point. I will definitely partake in snacks the next time we are there for HH.“
“Great local stop. Wings were great...should have been on list via social media as some of best of Long Island. They do lack social media, ie Instagram. They could benefit from that. Staff seems great. Drinks cold and fresh. Nice inviting atmosphere. Just need an Instagram to keep up and remain relevant“
“The Music Bingo was so enjoyable…great music!The Kareoke felt like an actual talent night with such talented patrons.The entire place was so incredibly clean…and let’s talk about how clean the woman’s washroom was?The food was pleasingly really good!Will definitely be back!!!!“
“The wings are banging and the sandwiches are a good size so make sure you're hungry. Plus they have mozzarella sticks and corn poppers that everyone loves. And the drinks flow great. Very friendly atmosphere and great place to have a party.“

“Although they have food, I've yet to try it, as we usually only stop by on the way home for one last drink and/or coffee after BBQing on the beach. The service is always very personable, and my boyfriend absolutely loves this place; he talked about the Gilgo Inn all throughout the off-season when we first met before I finally got the chance to visit with him.They're cash only, but they have an ATM ($3 service fee). All the seating is outside, but there's a TV inside as well as framed photos of how the place used to look, including some shots of it submerged in water following a storm some years back.The coffee is good, and the drinks are alright and won't break the bank. I think the cocktails were around $10 apiece. There are proper bathrooms across the parking lot, too.“
“Food and service was amazing. Owner/manager knew we loved the hot sauce and gave us a sample to take which I think was so kind. Sadly I left my take home box :( but that was my fault. CKT smash burger is huge and amazing. Love the balsamic vinaigrette for the salad as a side. daughter loved their huge chicken tenders portion. Wife loved the turkey burger. “My husband, my one year old son, and I always come here! It's always something special or on a whim. We love the fact we can dine here and have an experience with little to no issues. We love having Juanito as our server! He's kind, professional, friendly and always makes the best drinks. He has really shown his personality with us and we sincerely appreciate that! To my embarrassment , my one year old knocked his food off the table and Juanito understood! As a new mom, things like that have us feeling so apologetic!! But I am appreciative that he was not annoyed and he also shared his experiences. He is always making us feel welcomed and I am so happy to write this review to praise him and his work ethic. Thanks to Nordstrom for hiring a wonderful individual such as Juanito. 5 stars for food, ambiance and of course... the amazing service— always! “Bayview tavern is truly tucked away in Seaford. It's a pretty unassuming spot but pretty good. Our server Carol was very nice and had a welcoming energy as people came into the place for lunch. Now this place didn't blow me away but also was pretty good for a very casual lunch. They have specials almost every weekday that run I believe all day in addition to happy hour special which are 3-6. My dad got the $5burger. It's a plain burger and additions are an up charge, even cheese which I feel like could maybe just come on it. The burger was a little bland but cooked very well and the bun was nice and fluffy. We got the chopped baked clams. Those were good. They were kinda cheesy which I've ever experienced. I liked those. I got the clam chowder and it was actually very good. It was kind of a mix between a New England and a Rhode Island. It wasn't quite a clear broth but not super creamy like the New England. It had a ton of clams. The oyster crackers they gave me were incredibly stale but could've been an oversight. Not somewhere I would go running back but maybe for their HH or something.“
“We usually go here on Sunday’s for a drink it’s a nice bar with Lotto in there, they even have live karaoke on Sundays after 9 pm, that’s when it gets crowded out there. Local bar in Hicksville. The owner Nikki is kind and welcoming.Parking: Lots of parking available“
“Did a family dinner for 9 on an early Saturday night. We were seated and were able to order promptly and the service was very good and accomodated several requests attentively. However as the restaurant filled up beyond capacity the service became harder to find. Our server was busy at a packed bar so I had to find him there to pay the bill. They have a great selection of food for kids and a good selection for adults. The salmon and several types of steak and appetizers were good and the complimentary pretzels and cotton candy was a hit with everyone. My swordfish special was incredibly salty and perhaps was a frozen piece that was thawed. I would have sent it back for sure but knew it would take forever for any replacement so I just picked at it and ate my green beans and rice. The beans were actually cooked to perfection and really good. Great choice for okay food and family gatherings.Kid-friendliness: The kids were very content with the food and atmosphere.“
“Their corn / seafood chowder is my favorite soup ever !! They have won the Chowder Fest for the last few years. Their crab cakes, mussels , lobster rolls are always excellent. I have to watch what I eat as I am allergic to calamari and can't eat anything cooked with it , even in the same frying basket, and they always make sure I'm safe !! Everything is fresh and delicious and Heidi, the bartender is excellent ! All of the staff , when I am there has always been great and Hughie the owner , runs a great restaurant . Also in the summer when the outside Tiki Bar is open and there is live music, it's always wonderful .“
“What a fun place with a great crowd!Whiskey Reds is definitely more of a neighborhood hangout spot but they keep out the bad crowd, retain the good crowd, and there are a lot of laughs in-between! The bar is bigger than it looks and expands to the back with a pool table. The bar area itself is the place to be with a great crowd and TVs showing sports. All sorts of drinks and beers are offered here with something for everybody. The bartenders (especially Charlie and Jen) are incredible. They offer a small food menu if you need something to go with your drinks. There is also a jukebox full of different types of music if you want to request a song or two.“
“My husband and i went last Saturday night. It was great! The food was amazing. Especially the cold noodles. The sauce is to die for. Plus they accommodated to my gluten allergy. It is great to have a new local place to relax and have good food!!“
