We had a large group in to celebrate my mother’s birthday and we had an amazing experience with Windamere. From the initial contact through each stage of planning, the people at Windamere were wonderful and helpful. The day of the party was perfect. The decor was beautiful, the service extremely attentive, and the food was amazing. My mother was very happy with the party, and we wouldn’t have had anything done any differently. We highly recommend the Windamere for your event.
In late June, we arrived for a late evening dinner. Other customers were finishing as we were seated. Our waitress who had an out sized personality, Sandra, greeted us warmly. It was our worry that the kitchen might be shutting down but we were assured that we could be accompanied even at the late hour. this concern was made even more complicated by my dietary restrictions that the chef met wonderfully . The outdoor area is well-maintained and peaceful, with a great view, making it a perfect spot for a family dinner with huge portions. Popular dishes include burgers and pasta, while wings and fish sandwich receive mixed reviews. The food is very good, with highlights like baked clams, lobster bisque, and steak cooked perfectly. The naked wings are a great appetizer. The setting is beautiful, and it is an awesome place to enjoy some live music with a great band, such as Niteworks. Service remains fabulous and attentive, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. However, some dishes like the flounder and calamari may not meet expectations, as the breading can be hard and heavy, and the calamari may lack freshness. Overall, Windamere is a lovely place to relax and enjoy good food and entertainment.
