“This small eating establishment found us on our way from Cleveland to Buffalo just off of Rte 90 and a couple of miles from Barcelona where there is a beach on the shore of Lake Erie. Wanderlust Custard and Carryout Cuisine. The custard in the name got us there, but oh my, the cuisine was out of this world good. Between the 3 of us we had a lobster roll and Philly cheesesteak sandwiches that were melt in your mouth good as well as sampled the corned beef which I didn't think I was a fan of till I tried there's. My nephew tried bisque which he said was wonderful. Our visit with Jim, Ericca and a local that told us whatever we would get would be very good. (Boy was he correct.) Thanks for the visit, custard and fine cuisine Jim and Ericca. It was a pleasure visiting with you and the beautiful quaint little town of Westfield. “I recommend this uniquely artistic and creatively designed establishment. Tyler, our waiter, was very attentive, but truly an intellectual when sharing local historical information. The drink & food menu was diversely expansive featuring a delectable array of gourmet selections. Our group went with ordering an appetizer of artichoke cheese dip, which was dangerously delicious, followed by the main course featuring “white chicken & spinach pizza”, the to good to describe broiled Haddock, and savory chicken parmesan with homemade marinara sauce spaghetti.
The entire experience was rewarding and worth the drive. It’s definitely an establishment that we will look forward to returning to again, and I am looking forward to trying the other selections on the menu. I also noticed that this Restraurant caters to canine companions which is also a positive.“

“We have always enjoyed stopping into Ellicottville Brewing while visiting Bemus Point. It’s a nice atmosphere and good beer. We’ve loved the calamari for years and looked forward to having it, that is until last year. It seems they changed the calamari or where they get it from to a lesser quality (but the price went up significantly). The quality is terrible compared to the previous calamari. We went back this year hoping it was just a one-time thing but it’s even worse this year. The quality is still not good and this time the sauce they put on it was barely existent and the dipping aioli was totally different. I would have rather the price went up a little more and they kept the higher quality food. Would still recommend popping in here to give the beer a try and to enjoy the great location. I just do not recommend the calamari. 😆“
