“Consistently excellent. Normally when I go to a Jamaican restaurants I'm ready to fight because the person behind the counter always has a bad attitude but here...the gentleman was kind, courteous and patient while I did the "can i get uhhhhh ummmmm" looking at the menu. I ordered 3 days in a row at different times to ensure it wasn't a fluke. The j*** chicken and pork were Consistently, flavorful, juicy and tender. I had to go into rehab to detox because $30 a day isn't sustainable. Was going to go today but they seem to be closed on Mondays. Can't wait to go back. I'm happy they car to our community.“

“Amazing food, amazing drinks. The pre-fix price is phenomenal, and it has a luxurious feel to it while keeping it somewhat casual. This place looks horrible from the outside but I’m so happy to give it a chance. Perfection! This is my go-to place for date night, the crab salad is amazing. The steak is perfectly seasoned/charred.“

“I’ve done the “One Bite” tour around Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Long Island—I’ve gone to the hole-in-the-wall word-of-mouthers, too. Vincent’s Pizza Truck is undoubtedly up there with the best of them. The plain pie is perfectly dressed; the crust, thoughtfully caramelized with the right hint of char. Expect a crisp bite with great chew and the right balance of sauce to cheese to top a pie as thin as these. Do not skip out on an opportunity to eat here. The staff is always friendly and well-spirited, really rounding out the experience as a whole.“

“Beautiful steakhouse in Port Jefferson village. The waitress was very attentive. I have been here 3 times in the past 4 years so it's over a span of time. The service is consistent. The wait staff is outstanding whoever trains them kudos to them its rare lately to see consistently trained staff. The food is fantastic every single time. Every dish is executed outstanding. The specials the chef never disappoints!! Always creative with their dishes. Love the place!! If you are looking for a great place in Port Jefferson try this place. But try and get there early or make reservations. We went on a Saturday around 5pm and it wasn't too busy so we got a seat right away. We walked around Port after and when we went back to our car to leave at 7pm it was getting packed.Parking: It's Port Jefferson village if you get down to Port early you can find parking in the paid lots on the weekend if you don't go down early enough it's a struggle to find parkingKid-friendliness: I saw several tables with kids. It's a little expensive for kids but if you have the money why not.Wheelchair accessibility: It's on the ground floor do no stairs. There is ramps to get in and the staff is very accommodating so you shouldn't have any problems.“

“The service was outstanding. Most everyone 3 ot of 4 enjoyed their meal, Chicken Pot Pie, Short Ribs, Steak Sandwich, Crab Cake Sandwich. My brother wasn't entirely happy with Crab Cake Sandwich. Too much bread not enough crab. The wings were definitely Buffalo, I enjoyed, others thought to much heat. More for me! We had a very good time altogether, I will definitely be back.“

“Traveling back from a trip on a Sunday. We didn’t want to go to a chain so googled Mexican restaurant near me and this came up. It’s a small diner and was crowded. Language barrier was a tiny bit of a challenge but made it work. The food was fresh, hot and absolutely delicious. I mean so, so good! I’m so glad we stopped hereParking: Their parking is limited and tight, however we parked very close in a nearby shopping center. Only about 1 minutes walk away“

“From Christmas week, 12/26.I'm a bit behind with Burger reviewsThis burger was awesome.I have been here before, last September, but did not post a review here about itI ordered it my usual medium rare, and they cooked it exactly the way I liked it.The meat blend they used is spectacular....It really hit my tastebuds the right way.The bun was fresh, a bit soft, but held up well against the juicy burger..The price was right , $14.50 WITH bacon and cheese. The fries were crispy as I like them.My dining partner had the French Onion Soup, as it was one of the Specials. She said it was up there with one of the best she's had in a while. The service was great!!! Our waitress was quick, professional, upbeat, and funnyIt was busy, as they have a few popular specials on Tuesdays, one being a $22 porterhouse.. The table next to us both ordered it, and they said they loved it.Thanks MerissaThey have their own parking lot, but it fills up quick..There is also street parking. I've never had a problem thereThis burger is in my Top Tier , Top 5 territory..Which is getting very crowded.I'm going to have to budge my stubbornness thinking I can decide the 5 best, when there are truly numerous "TopTier" burgers on Long Island, and on my Radar Screen; which is all of Suffolk County, and an occasional foray into the 516 territory.Cavanaughs, Blue Point“
“Eat + Drink in Shoreham is a fantastic dining spot! The atmosphere was great, creating the perfect backdrop for a memorable meal. The food is delicious, and the service is exceptional. Whether it's a special occasion or a casual night out, this place delivers. Five stars all around!“

“Peter’s on the Green is a little hidden gem at the Bellport Country Club. My review is based on my wine which tasted a bit sour but this is coming from someone that is hard to please LOL. My sibling and I visited at the end of November 2023 for an afternoon lunch on a Saturday. Our meals came with a salad, mine was Greek and it was delicious. My brother got a chicken dino and I ordered an Uncle Peter (chicken, cheese, pasta…) and we shared a yummy dessert. We both took leftovers home and enjoyed them at a later time. I think the menu selection is great, location is gorgeous and the bathrooms could use an update. Overall, it’s a solid option for a nice lunch.“

“For a vegan, nothing much to choose from without modifying menu options. Servers were polite and ready to help. Music was a bit too loud, but patrons seemed to really enjoy the place.Vegetarian options: Needs expanding and more creativity. So many restaurants now have a Beyond burger, salads without cheese/egg, etc.Kid-friendliness: Kids not offered activity like coloring page/crayons, doesn't seem children-oriented.“

“Heaven in my mouth! After having a free sample at Dark Storm months ago, I finally made it to the location. WOW!When it is prepared fresh right off the grill, I returned to the gates of Valhall. Only THIS time the gods were deep in party mode, and I was lured in by the upbeat music, and the promise of satisfaction!I must say the brussel sprouts are a MUST have , don't wait til it gets home! The crisp outer leaves made such an impact on me, I cant wait to drag every passerby in and force love into their faces. The burger itself was so lovely to meet again. Like the hot guy/girl who keeps winking at you and all you get is his/her number and a makeout session... Youll be back for more!I wish I had more room to gorge myself in this plethora of flavor. Sadly (thankfully) there is always tomorrow, lunch AND dinner.“
“To start my review, I just wish there were more stars in the food and service category. Trio deserves 10 ⭐'s for both. This restaurant handles two types of food service, restaurant seating and catering for small to large parties. I've now experienced both. My most recent was a repast after a funeral. When everyone is emotional, the last thing the family needs is problems with the food service. Well, in our case, more people showed up than were originally expected. The staff at Trio didn't miss a beat. They set up additional tables in a flash and quickly had the tables set. We had buffet style dining and the selection was outstanding, with something for everyone. From soup to nuts, everything was delicious. They had fish, beef, vegetarian selections and even offered coffee and dessert. (by the way, if I had known how good the desserts would've been, I might have eaten a little less dinner.)The service is impeccable, everything is clean and fresh, the linens and tablecloths were spotless.I'd like to add that Trio is on the grounds of the Holbrook Country Club. You can grab lunch and drinks after you play, just show up and they accommodate parties of all sizes. You won't be disappointed!“

“A few months ago, I went here with my boyfriend for Valentines Day as we had made reservations. It was our first time going to this restaurant, easy back parking so we were able to walk over. The staff, were incredibly nice and friendly had a very welcoming and warm attitude, the setting was very romantic and very nicely set up although the seatings were a bit tight so there wasn’t much space but again it was Valentine’s Day so it was very busy.We ordered pretzel bites for an appetizer, it was very soft, and buttery! The beer cheese that came along with it was delicious as well! As for entree’s my boyfriend ordered the New Orleans Chicken Sandwich along with fries, which was really good and we both loved the sauce that came with it! I ordered Shrimp & Fresh Spinach Pasta which was okay, there was a little too much spinach and the shrimp wasn’t fresh tasting but the sauce was really good!Lastly, my boyfriend and I ordered a PB Oreo Brownie but unfortunately they didn’t have any more of it so we decided to go with the Lava Cake and share it. When the Lava Cake came we were a bit surprised by how small it was, so like each of us ate like two bites so in all fairness I wouldn’t necessarily recommend the desserts as they are very small portions but it was very good tasting otherwise I’d get this at like Applebees or something or somewhere elsewhere.Overall, I recommend this place for a nice and simple date with you and your partner since it has that atmosphere and the staff is super friendly, the food was great for the most part and I really enjoyed my time there so I will definitely be coming back!Parking: Parking is rather very easy, whether you park on the side of the street or access to the back parking lot that’s near the bank and Dunkin’ Donuts!“

“Been wanting to try this place for a long time & it’s a shame I slept on it. Food was amazing - so hard to decide what to get as so many menu options sounded great. Pizza was awesome, Martini Monday is a great deal. Can’t wait to return to try more entrees.“
“I hosted my 30th birthday party there for about 50 people and they were simply amazing! Not only did they help us pull off a surprise baby announcement and gender reveal, they helped my now fiancé pull off the biggest surprise of all a proposal in their beautiful outdoor area! The prices per person were the best around for what was included. The food was great. They created a beautiful cake and the staff was outstanding I cannot rave enough about them or this night. They truly went above and beyond. If you’re looking for a place to have your next party look no further.“

“We went camping here over Labor Day weekend. Our camping game is high (meaning we have lots of gear to make it super comfy), but trying to limit our equipment knowing that we have to carry everything from the ferry to the campsite was stressful. But we did it, and it was 100% worth it! Here is what we learned:It is buggy!! Bring Picaridin spray for the body. We had 2-6 oz cans between 5 people, and we used them both for the 5 day weekend. Spray tents with Sawyer insect repellent to keep the bugs away from the tents. If you have, bring a cart. It is quite a hike with your gear from ferry to campsite, and in the heat is it's not fun. You can borrow carts from the ferry station area. Ask the staff.Bring bungee chords to keep all your equipment in place on the cartsThere is camp store with all necessary supplies, but it is expensive. If you can organize and bring everything from mainland, it will be cheaper. There is boardwalk everywhere. Unless you are wilderness camping on the beach, you won't have to drag anything through sand (phew!!)Choosing a campsite: The map on the reserve america is not clear. Some campsites are two in an alcove area. If you are a group of two sites, you need to pick correctly. Site 10 is solo site. 11/12, 9/8, 7/6 are alcove, the others are in row next to each other. Unlike other campgrounds we have been to, these sites are on the smaller side. In our 11/12 site we luckily picked an alcove area, we had two sleeping tents and bug tent. There is a restaurant at the marina which becomes a disco on the weekend. The food is pretty good, cocktails are not bad!Beach is walking distance from the tents with a lifeguardLots of birds, and very chatty gray catbirds (bring ear plugs! I kid you not! One was right outside our tent at 5 am!!)It seems that a lot of families come back every year on the same weekend, and it felt like close community.National Parks have lots of activities during the day. On Monday they had a canoeing trip. You had to sign up the day of the trip to get a spot.Highly recommend, and we will make it an annual trip!I am not sure the glamping sites are worth the price but we have all camping gear. I can't speak of their comfort.“

“Went New Year’s Eve had an awesome meal off their special menu. Started off with a nice glass of German resiling wine, Shades of Blue, excellent! Then for appetizer had the crab cakes, loaded with crab topped with Aioli sauce, best I’ve ever had. Then had the fillet mignon with lobster tail, fillet had a good amount of gristle in the middle that I had to work around, other than that it was very good. Lobster tail was presented and seasoned very well in some sort of marinated butter, wine and garlic which I thought was top notch of flavor and tenderness. Came with the mash potatoes another good choice some of the best made. I can’t forget their delicious homemade multi grain bread which was very good. For last desert opted for the Crème Brûlée topped off with fresh made whipped cream, awesome. Let me also mention about our waitress very friendly and accommodating, great customer service.Overall had a very enjoyable and unforgettable experience at Nantucket's other than the fillet not being completely satisfied I give it the Cardillo Scale Rating Review of 4.8 out of 5. Will definitely be back again. Happy New Year ? ? ?“

“The service was amazing! There were plenty of seating options both inside and outside. We sat outside. It was really a nice view, spacious, and close to the bathrooms and outside bar. A must try item here is the spinach and artichoke dip with crab in it. This was by far better than any other dip of this kind in the area. It was a good portion and with other appetizers it could have been a meal. They have both valet parking and there is a lot of for parking.“

“Dublin Deck is a Patchogue staple, my family has been coming here for years. I absolutely love the atmosphere, no matter what time of day. The food was excellent & I love the drink options. Live bands, a gift shoppe, seems like a great place to have a party too...only negative thing I have to say is the BEES!! omg my mom & I were swamped, really bad. We moved from the back patio to the indoor central bar & they were STILL swarming us there. It's not as if they're honeybees or bumblebees either, they're the yellow jackets, so when we tried to use the menu to lightly fan them away, they would dive bomb at us lol...Dublin Deck is great man, always has been, but guys, PLEASE get a hold on this bee problem! Regretfully, I don't recommend going here if you know that you're allergic to bees. I'll definitely be back, my family intends to continue coming here too, for years to come, as they have in the years passed...but if I get swamped like that again, I'm OUT, so fast. The bartender was talking about how she's gotten stung there quite a few times, as if it's just a pastime, no big deal lol“
