“It's a basic diner. Breakfast food was acceptable but nothing to write home about. The waitress was quite busy and never brought a condiment I requested and we had to flag her down for the check despite being finished eating for a good amount of time. They recently renovated and the interior has no diner charm, it's just fairly generic but clean looking.“

“My father and I visited for the first time. We live very locally and have been curious to try it. We were not disappointed. We were greeted warmly and served attentively. The atmosphere is charming and kept very clean. My dad ordered the French toast deluxe and truly enjoyed it. It was fluffy, juicy, and satisfying. I had the Mediterranean omelette. It was very flavorful and fluffy as well. Not every diner is created equal. The lovely woman behind the counter told us this establishment is at least 60 years old. It's such a slice of nostalgia. We had an even better experience than we anticipated. I hope they are a mainstay for years to come. What a treat. Really looking forward to our next breakfast there!“

“We love this diner. Delicious food, warm cozy and clean atmosphere, great service reasonably priced, and for the frequent patrons, a free glass of wine with every complete dinner. An awesome new owner named Steve, is always there to greet and seat customers and if your so inclined, make you a mean cocktail too. We dine here at least once a week and never are we disappointed.“

“I wanted to Thank Everyone at the Sunrise Diner for all the years they made my Parents feel like family whenever they went there. My Father has since passed but my Sister took my Mother there today and they gave my Mom hugs, told her they loved her and how cute she was. I was in tears when I heard this from my Sister. I am so Happy that my Mom has this place to go to to get out and feel so loved by so many. Over the years the Sunrise Diner has been a very Happy Place to go to. “My buddy and I went to dinner at the Grand Stage Diner on 4/10/24 prior to the Islanders game. The diner was clean, the hostess was very nice and friendly and the wait staff was excellent. We each ordered burgers w/ fries. I have to say it was one of the best cheeseburgers I ever had at a diner. Food was hot, perfectly cooked. Superb! I would definitely go back. “This has entered our diner rotation recently and we keep coming back. We love the pasta salad that comes to start the meal. I love their grilled cheese and soups. My husband likes their wings and burgers. Atmosphere is a typical diner, outdated but not retro. Service has always been good. No complaints here!“
