“Excellent service and great atmosphere! Everyone is so attentive and helpful. The food is delicious and affordable. Their happy hour is really good. The drinks are well made and they are not cheap with the liquor.Well done guys, we will be back soon!!“
“we were very happy with our breakfast sandwiches! I had a few questions regarding coffee grinds. the man was knowledgeable and happy to share information! overall 10/10 :) Nice Latin American decor - also, very clean, organized and spacious cafe!“
“It is a nice place for breakfast and coffee. Portions are satisfying. The omelettes are delicious and the staff is really friendly. If you are staying in this area or passing through, you should give this place a try. Greetings to my Greek friend. ??“
“I guarantee you aren't going to find a more diverse and amazing menu. So many choices and everything was so good. I got the Ruben served open face with your choice of pastrami or corned beef. I got the corned beef and the wife got pastrami. So good! The sweet potato fries, OMG. I don't know how they make them so good but I've never had better. Just trust me on this one, stop once and you'll go back.Parking: Easy to park when we went and it was free.“
“Argentine-run restaurant almost hidden on 37th Av. in Long Island City. We got there with google maps. Very warm and friendly welcome in a typical American spacious environment. The proposal is very rich as well as tasty and plentiful for a light or more substantial breakfast suitable for a day on tour in New York. Lower than average prices. Advised.“
“Small homey diner with good food and good coffee. They have a wide variety of menu items including health conscious options and a natural smoothie bar. The customer service was excellent. The staff was attentive, warm, and kind. The inside is small but cozy. A great spot for a coffee date, friend date, or solo date.“
“My wife and I, wanted to experience a different place to eat from. After searching Google search, she decided to go to this diner after reading their reviews. This was our first time visiting "The Classic Diner." When we arrived to the location there was a small parking lot. I looked at my wife like," Where the h--- you bought me to! She payed no attention to my expression. She went to the back of the car and pulled out my wheelchair, then we proceeded to the Diner. We was greeted by the owner who directed us to our table. That's where all the fun began. Our waiter who goes by the name Tino, was very professional wrapped in a sense of humor made our dining experience that much enjoyable. As we sat and talked, our meals came, it was more than we expected. Half fry chicken, cooked to perfection alongside large French toast, coffee and juice. Couldn't eat all the chicken, so we got a to-go plate. We really enjoyed ourselves. Thanks to The Classic Diner. We will be back!“
“Ever since I was little, I would go to this restaurant so many times. I have so many fond memories. Even eating it today, it brings back memories of when my mom would take me and my siblings to eat there for dinner. At the time, they would close much later than they do now. Thankfully, I'm already walking home by 2 pm, and since I live close by, the delivery was nice and fast. The food is always delicious, generously well priced, and the customer service is always really nice. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger that came with fries, along with an extra side of onion rings. That came up to $20 on the dot, and with the portions they serve, I was more than happy with that price. I have, and I will continue to go to this amazing restaurant. I highly recommend it if you're in the area.“
“The food is alway delicious but unfortunately with everything else, it's way too expensive... I ordered a Leo omelette with avocados and a bagel, nothing to drink and was close to $30. that will have to be my last time. I'll miss it but it's not worth that price.“
“I am so impressed with this local gem! I love retro diners and this one is perfect! Always remember to get Challah french toast! My friend (Thanks, Ben L.!) and I met here for weekend breakfast. I got the hot cup of coffee which is a classic. We ordered the following dishes to share: Jackson House Breakfast and the Bacon Cheeseburger with fries! Both of these dishes were perfect and I had no bad remarks! Jackson House Breakfast, we got scrambled eggs, breakfast sausage, home fries, challah french toast, and toast with butter on the side. Everything on this plate was so delicious especially the challah french toast - this was my favorite part! The challah french toast was so fluffy and flavorful in the middle and probably my favorite french toast ever! The breakfast sausage was very unique, it's the fat sausages. It has a nice crisp on the outside and meaty inside. Bacon Cheeseburger, this was a delicious burger! The burger patty had nice grilled marks on it and I loved the charred flavor. Fries on the side was crispy and not oily at all! How did they do this? I can't wait to come back!“
“I’ve come here about once a month and I love it every time! The food is so good and priced well too for the huge portions! I recommend going with friends but good to go alone too if you want to have left overs for the next day. The staff is friendly and attentive and did I mention how much I love the food? The stuffed French toast is always my go to.“
“I have loved this place since I first came here as a teenager. Now I come with my own family and the cozy atmosphere has never changed. The waiters are kind and always ready to bring another fresh cup of coffee. I love that this establishment has a mix of both young and older patrons. Jahns is a special gem in our neighborhood and I hope it stays that way.“
“I am from florida and visited my friend here in Ridgewood. This diner is so cute, I went twice on my visit. Isabella was so sweet to us, recognized and knew my friend who I was visiting, and the food was plenty for a good price. I got french toast with handmade cinnamon apples on my first visit that was mouth watering and then pancakes on my second that were even better.“
“One of the most traditional diners (located in Queens) in all of NYC.Clean, welcoming environment. There is both a Diner and Restaurant area. You eat well, at honest prices. Attractive decor. They have filmed several movie scenes inside over the years.A must go for anyone staying in the area.“
“The classic diner is back! A new diner at an old restaurant spot in Bayside. Very typical diner menu, tons of options. We opted for an omelette and the classic tuna melt. Good portions, and reasonable prices. Service was great too! No waiting but their lot was full and I parked two blocks down which is not bad at all! Will be going back!“
“Me and my family have been coming to Glendale Diner for YEARS! We will always love e Glendale diner! Delicious food, big portions, and always friendly service! It's still got that "old school" diner look to it too, which still works till this day.“
“I've been coming to this location for years now, and they make you feel right at home. It's basically a family environment with great food and drinks. Now, of course, keeping in mind, if you're looking for a fun night out, make sure you drop by. They have great drinks specials, great music, and always a fun and happy environment.“
“As someone from the southern US, the All Star Special from Waffle House is something I have been searching for a version of in NYC for years. They have a combo at New York Diner that’s 2 eggs, meat, potatoes, toast, a waffle, and coffee/orange juice all for unbelievably cheap. I have finally found the NYC All Star Special. I think our bill for two full meals was $33 including tax. We got served quickly, and the server always kept our coffee topped off—all this happening while the perfect soundtrack of oldies was playing. The perfect diner experience, no notes.“
“Bill's Diner is a storefront in a dingy, littered shopping plaza in the Linden section of Queens. Despite its appearance the shopping plaza is busy and feels safe. Inside, the diner is very bright and well lit with big windows and mirrors adding to the bright look. Very clean inside. My turkey dinner was good and service was good. The menu has everything, like you expect in a diner. Better than expected. 4 out of 5 stars.“
“We usually come for brunch and one day decided to come for dinner. We tried the dinner set menu, which comes with soup, an entree and a glass of wine. We ordered the chicken lemon and grilled platter. Both are a very good portion and their chicken lemon risotto soup is very delicious. Second time we came, Nick gave us a free bowl of risotto soup, which was very appreciated. Service has always been good at this place and we're now a regular.“
“We got a recommendation from a stranger that the absolute best mozzarella sticks he’s ever had is at Michael's Restaurant on Broadway. Yes, the mozzarella sticks specifically because the marinara sauce is very fresh and full of herbs, while the mozzarella sticks themselves are perfectly made and taste amazing. Not that I was out looking for the best mozzarella sticks, but he got me curious and I had to try it out for myself. These mozzarella sticks are thinner than your typical ones, so it feels and tastes crunchier. I think the mozzarella sticks are really good but the best part about this appetizer is the sauce. You could taste all the ingredients that it’s made of, the freshness of the herbs. I'm a tomato girl, so that’s why I’m a fan of the sauce. My husband said you could tell it's elevated mozzarella sticks based on the look itself. Quality gourmet mozzarella sticks and the marinara sauce just goes so well with it. We didn't know we’d be trying someone’s mozzarella sticks recommendation tonight haha thank you for the rec, Nick! We need to meet more kind strangers by the local halal cart.“
“Good place to start your day, is what I would have said 2 to 3 years ago, in the times I've went I favored fettucini or pancakes. Pancakes are cheap, price is fine. Fettucini is great, however , one day it's served to me in a plate instead of the bowl they'd use. They cut corners to save money, which makes the food not worth it. The bowl would have leftovers before, now I'm not full. I have then switched to burgers because there is some sort of value there, despite the burgers being pretty expensive too. I'd recommend you eat alone to save.“
“Service was A+. The menu had plentiful breakfast, lunch, and dinner selections. We had the Chicken Caprese sandwich & the Baja Burger. The only downside was the onion rings were too greasy. Overall, I would definitely eat here again! ?“
“Supreme Diner exceeded my expectations with exceptional service and delicious food. The vegetable salad they prepared for our Thanksgiving potluck was the highlight, earning rave reviews from my entire team. The manager's professionalism and customer-oriented approach made the experience outstanding. They not only understood my needs but also delivered a perfectly crafted meal within just one hour of ordering. Kudos to Supreme Diner for their outstanding work ethic and, most importantly, for serving truly delightful food.Vegetarian options: The grilled vegetable salad was amazing!“
“I love this place. Food is great. Service is always amazing and super friendly. However it's very pricey in comparison to other diners in the area. About 30% more. Although expensive I still leave a great tip because of the service and yummy food.“
“This is your quintessential NY diner that has all you need. Burgers, omelettes, steaks, burgers..they have it all & thankfully the prices are still reasonable. A neighborhood staple for over 35 yrs, excellent service & greeted warmly as soon as you walk in w a smile. Doesn't get any better...a must to try!“
“Been coming here a while and the place is rather clean, prices have gone up overtime but it's good food so sometimes it's worth a stop in. Depending on what time you go it can be a bit crowded so food could take a bit longer to come. Overall definitely coming back.“
“Great place for a weekend breakfast. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is a lot of the booth seating are kind of tight. But, the service, food and choices are great. Our new favorite when heading to the mall, as it's walking distance. Give them a try.“
“I hadn't been back in a few years, but I stopped in twice recently. the footprint has been reduced, but the menu still features all the items that make NY diners great.there is a new young lady waiting tables on the weekday morning shift. She is a delight.“
“I've always loved this diner. It's been our go-to for breakfast or brunch. I LOVE their milkshakes. Very large portions, and a very welcoming atmosphere. I've eaten a lot of pancakes, it's kinda my thing... theirs are delicious. Also, excellent delivery service. My shake came wrapped in selophane, so not a drip dropped out. And it was still thick.Parking: The parking lot is large, however it serves about 6 or 7 stores. I have never, ever seen the lot completely full though.Kid-friendliness: It's a diner. What's not friendly about that? I am pretty sure I've seen highchairs for babies.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair assecible entrelance and exit. It's a ramp.“
“It's the old sage diner. Nothing has changed. It's still very outdated looking n half the staff does not speak English which makes asking for something after the waiter disappears. Food is everyday all day ordinary diner food. Its not your mom n pop diner real feel of the atmosphere was like a mill. Not even gonna talk about the price as everything is high now a days“
“Where do I even begin? This diner is an absolute treasure! From the moment you step through the door, you're greeted with warmth and hospitality. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, making it the perfect spot to start your day. And let's talk about the breakfast – it's beyond delicious! From fluffy pancakes to perfectly cooked eggs, every bite is a delight. But what truly sets this diner apart is the friendly service. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure you have a fantastic dining experience. Whether you're a regular or a first-time visitor, you'll leave with a smile on your face. This diner has become my go-to spot, and I can't recommend it enough!“
“Nice place, like in the movie and good location. You can easily combine it with a visit to the Moma Ps1 or Sculpture Center. The service people were all very friendly too. The food was ok. But I didn't expect gourmet food in a diner. I definitely recommend it for the experience!“
