“Nice place for breakfast. It would be even nicer if the waitresses didnt steal your change. I never pay cash because if I pay cash unless its exact amount I can forget about getting back any coin change. They round it off to the nearest dollar always to their benefit. Apparently the patrons there dont tip very well so they take matters in their own hands....it is called petty larceny....good food though“

Whenever we want to have a diner food experience where everyone can get what they want instead of choosing an Italian restaurant, Chinese, etc this is our go to! “One week ago I called the Colonial Diner when the caterer for our daughter’s after wedding brunch cancelled 10 days before the wedding weekend. I told them what my crisis was and these complete strangers sprang into action and promised to take care of us. This morning they delivered delicious food and sooo much of it. All of our 120 brunch guests raved about all of the food and especially the French toast and sausage (many said the sausage was the best they ever had). I will be forever grateful to Carmen and Nikki for being amazing human beings. Thank you for being part of the wedding weekend!“

“My family and I went to Elsies last Saturday after my son got married on the day that he was originally supposed to have his big wedding which was postponed due to Covid. Afterwards we went to Elsies to have breakfast and could not have been more pleased with the service that we received and the food was delicious. The owner went above and beyond trying to find T-shirts that we all wanted to buy to memorize the day.“

They can never get an order right. This time it was a simple omelette, ham instead of bacon. no toast and my husbands meal was missing items. There is nothing worse than getting home with a takeout order and everything is wrong. Then they had the nerve to say it was our mistake and we ordered the wrong thing. Let me give you a lesson over there at the Goshen Diner. You don't argue with a customer!! You fix it.
