“Our first time visiting Monarca and it was excellent. I chose the cammarones (shrimp with mushrooms and tequila) with the charro. (The charro!!! ?) So good! We ordered the queso which was spicy and very tasty. Margaritas were so good. We all left stuffed and satisfied. The staff was very friendly and pleasant. I loved the decor, the seating and ambiance. I'm surprized to see some of the comments here. People do have to realize a new business doesn't just open and run like clockwork. It takes time for staff to gel and get a system down. Its unrealistic to not expect that a brand new establishment needs time to work out kinks. That's why Im glad we waited to visit until now because we were very pleased and will be back!! “The Taco Bell side is always really steaming hot fresh and delicious. I never had a burnt chalupa or a soggy Doritos locos taco. The nacho fries have so much of that amazing seasoning they never skimp and give me a plain boring potato. They give you five guys French fries level ( surplus of) cinnamon twist. Way better than the Chester and new Windsor location. Only fault is I can’t use my app here and I am a Taco Bell app girlie.“

“I’ve driven past this place countless times and finally decided to give it a try since my usual taco truck was closed. I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in. The place is welcoming, organized and the young man at the counter was so sweet. He even offered to let me sample two other dishes. Excellent customer service and even better food. Today I ordered the chicken tostadas which were excellent. I’ll definitely be back to try more of their menu.“

“10 of us stopped on our way home from Legoland, and they arranged tables for us. All agreed it was some of the best Mexican food we've had since Cancun. Small place but good service.“

“We had to go to my in-laws to help them and needed dinner so my wife found this place and I looked at their menu and saw the family size for us and thought perfect. Not only was the food good but I saved ten percent by ordering online which I liked. We live in Florida NY, but I’d be willing to go here again and try some other dishes.“

The atmosphere was good enough for this small and quaint location. I think the only Con is that the A/C was not working at its best during the heat wave and it was quiet warm inside. “Most Authentic Tacos in the area. I’m from Arizona (Mexican food goes HARD) and this place was the best tacos I’ve had for NY tacos. I tried Cabeza, Suadero, Carnitas, Al Pastor and Lengua. All were great and would go here over anywhere else. Do I have suggestions since I’ve had amazing tacos being that I’m from Arizona? Of course, but overall the meat flavor and texture is what makes or breaks the meal. They definitely have that together! Which makes the rest of the menu probable to be delicious. Highly recommended.“
