Nice live music.
Long Post alert: Yesterday 7/10, I and a group of my people who were attending a fishing trip in the same vicinity of this restaurant sat down to wait for our boat to be ready.
Here's my issue with this restaurant.

The Clam and Chowder House at Salivar's Dock offers a mixed dining experience. The staff is very nice, and the atmosphere is generally okay, though the outdoor area could use some sprucing up. The food is hit-or-miss, with the clam chowder and calamari being decent, but the fish tacos special receiving poor reviews. However, the restaurant is praised for its fresh, local seafood, creative salads, and delicious banana cream pie. Recent visitors also enjoyed the peel and eat shrimp, mussels, lobster Mac and cheese, and poke bowl, noting the quality was amazing and service was excellent. The clam chowder and peel and share shrimp especially stood out. The outdoor deck is nice, especially since it overlooks the marina, adding to the lively atmosphere. Service can sometimes be slow and hard to flag down, but staff are friendly and attentive when acknowledged. The restaurant’s cozy indoor space and occasional live music nights contribute to a lively, upbeat vibe, sometimes a bit loud, but overall a great experience. The menu options, including fish and chips, clam chowder, and sushi, come highly recommended. The chef is friendly and once brought out a complimentary half seared tuna, which was delicious. Overall, the Clam and Chowder House provides a satisfying dining option, with room for improvement in outdoor ambiance.
