We ate here while vacationing at the Kartrite. The cooking here was amazing!! It’s excellent home style cooking. We had 2 kids with us that also loved it. The burgers, Mac and cheese, and banana pudding were out of this world! The chicken was fantastic! If you’re in the area, it’s worth the stop!
I ordered the fish large plate omg the best I’ve had in a very very long time, this my first time eating here being a trucker passing through, it was hot fresh, the cornbread was amazing I’ve never had cornbread like this, everything was seasoned to perfection, thank you so much, hope to come back!
While on a weekend getaway with the family we stumbled upon this jewel. Family owned, soul food and it did not disappoint! I had the fried chicken with corn bread, the sides Mac and cheese, yams and potato salad. My son had the chicken and waffles. My wife had the fish. We tore that food up! Nothing left but dessert, that banana pudding, amazing. If you are in the area, don't miss out.
