Reliable, clean, organized, well staffed bagel joint and bakery. Parking lot is pleasant and avoids the parallel parking mishaps common in a village where many visitors are working or visiting the high stress neighborhood of a hospital.
came on a whim after a hike-got a few sandwiches - bagels were pretty good crusty outside chewy inside- egg salad was very good. tomatoes on the sandwiches were not fresh. crumb cake was stale. service was not so friendly

It would nice to be able to tip the people working. They don't have a tip jar out and they deserve the gratuity, being as kind and diligent as they are. The bagels are awesome. I've gone for breakfast and lunch, and no matter what I got I've very much enjoyed. It can get really busy and the sit down area inside is kind of small, so unless you're okay with eating among a crowd I wouldn't plan on staying for lunch.
