Mount Vernon House of Wings is a restaurant where the food is really great. The hot honey is on point and the milkshakes are so addicting and sooo good. The wings are absolutely delicious, fresh, meaty and perfectly cooked, with an amazing assortment of flavors. The smash burger with beef bacon is flavorful and hits the spot. Out of all the fast food places, this is the only one that feels like home cooked food. Service was quick, the food came out fresh, and everything was made to order. The gentleman behind the counter is super friendly and knows what he's doing, and the young guy at the cash register took good care of customers and was super nice. The place is really clean. One online order led to a one hour wait after an automated text said the order was ready. Another customer asked for FLATS ONLY and put in the notes “will pay the upcharge,” but drumsticks were still put in the food both times.
