“Been going here for years. Some of the best diner style food I’ve ever had. Most everything is home made and the handful of things that aren’t are brought in from local stores. The staff is great, very accommodating and attentive while allowing you the privacy to have a conversation with your companions. Highly recommend.“

“I live between Syracuse and Rochester and was in Syracuse. I’ve passed by Apizza Regionale several times and finally stopped. I ordered an Apizza with sausage to go. I’ve heard of New Haven style and Apizza but have never had it. I must say I was pleasantly surprised. The crust had a slight blackening on the bottom and was still airy and tasty. The sauce was perfect as was the sauce. It was very delicious and will definitely be back again. I also want to say how great the service was. The waitress that took my order was very pleasant and professional. I had knee surgery a couple weeks ago and when I returned to pick up my order she carried it out to my car for me. Idk what they put in the seafood noodle soup CHAMBONG, but I have gotten it for four years and never been happier in my life. “We were seated immediately even though there were a ton of vehicles in the parking lot. Had our drinks in less than 2 minutes of sitting down. Our food came in a timely manner. The waitress was attentive without being intrusive. The manager made a brief stop to see how we were enjoying our meal.
I had the Hibachi salmon with rice and steamed broccoli. Broccoli was a little too over streamed but that's my personal preference, otherwise everything was delicious. My partner had the French Onion burger that she enjoyed.

“Stella's is one of my favorite places for fish on Friday. They have it fried, broiled or grilled. Recently I was there and ordered mashed potatoes with my fish. I did not specify without gravy. When the waitress brought my dinner I was upset because it had gravy. She took them back to the kitchen. When she returned it seemed that I had more than before. Unfortunately I am allergic to gluten, which was in the gravy. For the last 2 days, I have been having symptoms related to eating gluten.“

“Update (Spring 2026):
I’ve now been to Vietnam and Ky Duyen is on par with some of the best I had there and is even better than some of them. They continue to be my favorite Banh Mi in the area.
Their iced coffee leaves something to be desired for my taste though unfortunately. A big part of this is my preference for white coffee (bạc xỉu) and the salted cream coffee (cà phê muối). My favorite combo is to buy a banh mi and drive down the road to the newly opened Wake Up for their salted cream coffee.

Update (11/7/2023):
Finally got to come back as I had the day off from work and could make it up before they sold out. Banh Mi is still great, though I found that I very much did not enjoy the cold cut option. I’ve now had 3 (BBQ Pork), 1 (Roasted Pork), and 2 (Cold Cut) and would recommend them in that order. BBQ pork was amazing, roasted pork was great, and cold cut had me questioning if I wanted to finish it. Not bad or gross, just completely not my taste/preference. I fully plan on being back in the future to try number 4 (shredded pork) so I can figure out which one is truly my favorite and future go to.
