Since moving to Utica a few months ago I've been sampling the many bakeries in the area, and while there are a lot of very good ones, Gingerbread Bake Shop is my favorite so far.The cinnamon buns (there is nothing better with a good cup of coffee) and Boston cream donuts (the perfect ratio of cream to donut to chocolate) are some of my favorites. I ordered a Birthday cake for my Grandson at the last minute. When I called around 7:30 am to check if they had cake for that day, I was told yes by a very friendly young Lady. I asked for a football cake that was a big hit with my 11 yr old Grandson. The person who decorated his cake did an AMAZING JOB. I couldn't have been more pleased. So I Thank the Decorator and the girl who answered the phone for both doing a great job. It was much appreciated!!!
