Probably the most authentic Mexican restaurant in new york. Its not a corporate run Mexican restaurant. Food was great. Stop for lunch im a construction worker so we stop at alot of different places. The decor, the music, the food, the staff its a true Mexican restaurant. First time being there and we told all the guys we work with.
If you dine-in here the service is very poor and don't even bother trying to do take-out because I just tried callimg 7 times over a 20 minute span and every single time got a busy signal.
I take my Mexican food seriously. As a Latina, I feel that I can appreciate authenticity. Los Amigos is by far the closest to authentic in CNY. Everyone has their preference but rest assured that you will get the flavors you’re looking for while staying true to the roots. Get the queso fundido, chile relleno, tacos, and if you like beer order a Michelada you will love it ❤️
