Cafeteria Coffee House

I love this place! They recently went under new management and have been going though some cool changes. They now have two open mic nights a week, which are really fun to watch or to perform in. The atmosphere is awesome, with a stamped tin ceiling, cool wooden tables and a small stage. They also have new pastries that taste sooooo much better than the old ones they used to sell, even though they are a little pricey.

The Cafeteria is a very special place. And what makes it unique is the vibe. I've never been at a coffee house in which everyone is so at ease and in which I have felt so welcome. I think a lot of this has to do with Ben, the manager. He's not only a coffee expert, but someone with a genuine interest in literature, philosophy, music and most important of all, people. First time entering: immediately loved the atmosphere. The inside gave a sense of comfort, especially with the couches and coffee tables. The booth at the side is a nice touch. Came during open mic night and had a lot of fun listening to others sing and singing along with them! Barista was super nice, i asked him for a recommendation and he gave me the most popular drinks, got the Oreo cappuccino which was a very smooth blend of cookie and coffee/sweet and bitter.
