Just spent the day at Lake Minnewaska and ended up here for dinner. We loved it. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. My daughter said it was the best sushi she has had in a long time. And the staff was very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend.
I ate dinner here with my family who used to come here many years ago when my sister was living in New Paltz. I think the management changed but we were sadly disappointed. I had unagi rice which was fine but not exceptional. Everyone else ordered teriyaki (chicken, salmon, beef) and were disappointed. The chicken was dry and all of them felt that the vegetables (broccoli and carrots) were not only too simply cooked (boiled) but also over cooked and not seasoned at all. The presentation...
SO GOOD for such a great deal!!!! Like 2011 prices. They have 3 roll dinner specials for $18! AND they have gluten free soy sauce. My only complaint is that it’s very loud inside because they packed tables into a small room, but we don’t mind. It’s soo worth it! Love coming here when we’re in the area.
