Moon Light Cafe Reviews

Excellent Food. Must visit if you're at New Paltz. Love the Egyptian food, full of flavours and well proportioned food. The eggplant appetizer is a must try and so is the falafel. The beef shawarma was full of flavours. We loved the 3 skewers kebab combo, the kebabs were delightful and delicious. The seafood pasta was unexpectedly good. The red lentil soup I believe is over hyped. Overall it's an amazing experience.

Literally my favorite comfort food in New Paltz. Their red lentil soup is a *must* and always gotta end with a piece of baklava (both regular and vegan are delicious)! Honestly can’t go wrong with whatever you order but my fave is the Incredible Eggplant sandwich on a pita (with babaganoush, which I know is double eggplant but it’s too good not to! :) ) My bf always gets the Supreme Falafel sandwich on a pita. Make sure to get hot sauce on the side, it’s so good!!

Wow wow wow, I was blown away by their vegetarian moussaka and vegan red lentil soup! I have never had such an incredible moussaka anywhere--it's what I always wish it could be. So comforting and hearty and satisfying, and somehow decadent and light-feeling at the same time. Truly incredible. Can't wait to try their other vegetarian entrees, they have a whole section on the menu!
