My wife and I were visiting the area and just assumed the Udder choice was a place to go get ice cream. Turns out they do have delicious ice cream, but a whole lot more. It is a full restaurant serving breakfast and lunch all day long and clearly a local favorite! We did enjoy their ice cream, but had we more time in the area, we would have certainly had a meal there.

July 2022 Delightful, rich, creamy ice cream done the right way with good, fresh ingredients. Loved the chocolate and snickers flavors. Good prices, excellent service, and wonderful farmhouse ambience.

A fun restaurant for eats, ice cream, and to experience. Dinner mostly hand held sandwiches , wraps, and soups. Rueben and BBQ sandwich were very good with chips and pickle. Dessert is the excitement so many choices!!! Sundaes, banana splits, brownie delights, and ice cream cones. Ice cream sundae pick your ice cream and toppings. Peanut butter ice cream and the best hot fudge topping yum. The three scoop coffee ice cream with hot fudge sauce was delicious! We will be back for more ice cream choice soon. Oh, the atmosphere is fun with milk signs, display of old ice cream scoops, and wholesome place for families.

Went for lunch with another couple and was not disappointed. The food and service were excellent. Spacious restaurant with great nostalgic decor. Had the Grilled Ham and Cheese and a cup of Turkey Barley Soup. They were killer! Save room for dessert. Homemade pies and ice cream. Had the cherry pie with vanilla ice cream. Off the hook!! Will definitely go back to try their breakfasts.

We love this restaurant. Their staff is friendly and attentive. The service has always been outstanding and the home-made soups and grilled sandwiches are delicious. Save room for dessert, though...the ice cream, the sundaes, the milkshakes are wonderful!

There were about 8 soups available when we arrived. I love chili but had never heard of Cactus Chili before. I asked our Server, Amber, what it was like. She described it as regular chili, but with small pieces of cactus in it, that makes it a bit sweeter, and not as spicy. Sounded interesting, so I ordered a bowl. My husband ordered a cup of the Corn Chowder and a Hot Dog. Everything came to the table hot. The Corn Chowder had a lot of chicken in it and my husband said it was delicious. The Hot Dog was hot and served with chips. My Cactus Chili was exactly as Amber had described it- regular chili with beans, a little spicy but also a little sweet. I enjoyed it very much. For dessert, we had pretzel cones with peanut butter swirl for me and sugar free/fat free for my husband. Delicious. Love the salty taste of the pretzel cone with the sweet ice cream. Amber was very pleasant and kept an eye out to see if we needed anything. The restaurant serves mostly soup, sandwiches and ice cream. It is decorated with a large case of ice cream scoops and old signs, many of them with ice cream companies on them. Very interesting place to have lunch or a light dinner or dessert.
