Jaleo Bar & Grill is a beautiful Venezuelan restaurant in New Rochelle with an amazing atmosphere, a super Instagram worthy aesthetic, and a live band on Saturday nights. The service is top-notch, with staff like Catharina, Valentina, Angela, and Laura being attentive, kind, and sweet. The food is amazing and incredible, with delicious arepas, a great selection, and a tender and fulfilled arepa llanera. The $60 mixed grill is absolutely worth it. Drinks are cool and spot on, including well-balanced passion fruit and classic mojitos served with a flower. The shrimp tempura roll is not the best, but this isn’t a sushi place. Great prices and generous pours make this a beautiful Latin spot to come back to, with complimentary shots at the end of the night and lucky street parking out front.
