“Best breakfast spot in New Ro, no cap!! Jess’ breakfast is incredible!! The bacon, and egg with fresh jalapeños and home fries is AMAZING, and affordable. It’s always busy in there on the mornings, so you know it’s fire! This has been my spot for years and I’m always proud to bring my friends from out of state to the best BEC spot in New Ro.“

Don’t expect anything to be made without you telling them exactly what you want.
New Rochelle customers are so picky and most adults eat like toddlers that they stay on the side of caution when adding any ingredients that were not specifically asked for .

Example, if you order a bacon egg and cheese and don’t ask for it to be toasted, you’re not gonna get it toasted .

The two owners are super sweet , mom and son duo! Take time to get to know them when you can.

I’ve seen a lot of ignorant reviews online about extremely petty things . Grow up New Rochelle!

“Great breakfast, starting with their coffee, delicious and relaxing ambiance. The best pancakes I’ve ever tasted with plenty of fresh strawberries with the best maple syrup and their famous butter whip cream, was delicious. I rate this restaurant 10/10 😋“

Everyone who has ever helped us has been so wonderful.. especially with my 2 yr old. Every server, a heart of gold! Love this location. Really-of all of them on the north shore, this one is always consistent & hands down the best!“

“I went in to munchies with a friend today on our lunch break. The service was great. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. And the food, was, like one of the best deli food in Yonkers, they could go toe to toe with anyone else in Yonkers . Thank you very much Munchies.“

“I go here every morning for coffee and the occasional pastry- staff are top notch! Have had dinner multiple times and recently a lovely outdoor brunch. It’s the cutest place in the area by far: excellent food, friendly, prompt service. I have never had a problem- 100% lovely experiences. Just double check the hours as weekday hours are slightly different. Definitely a must try! I usually get the Farm Burger and hand cut fries- burger is always made to my specifications- perfect and generous portion. I also love their Cobb salad. Ten stars!!! ⭐️“

“My family are big eaters and Ray’s Cafe gives you the largest portion of food for your money. Delicious very time. The workers and owner are professional and very friendly. I can’t wait to return.“

“Love, Love, LOVE this breakfast spot. I order from here regularly. The food is always fast, fresh and budget friendly. The guy who takes phone orders affectionately refers to us as “The Donut Family” because we usually order the last donuts of the day. What’s pictured here is seasoned waffle fries and a special made burger (bacon cheddar cheeseburger on a glazed donut w/lettuce & tomato). They are open very early. They take cards and cash. The staff is super friendly. Great for delivery but not so great as a dine in spot (they do have a couple of chairs inside but it’s really too small to sit and enjoy a meal without having to move for the incoming foot traffic).“

“Very homey feel here. Service was fast from the woman at the front who tended to multiple people. The value was excellent for breakfast, where I ordered from one of their deals. Ordered scrambled eggs with sausage and it came with toast (4 pieces), juice, and coffee. Very affordable and I'd recommend coming here. There's a parking garage and street parking on the hill to the right of this restaurant (free on Sundays).“

“Nice local option.I'm not even sure of the name of this place as I believe ownership might have changed at some point or two. On Google, it's 'Tu Cafe' - on Yelp it's 'G & M Coffee Shop' - and on the menu I have it just says 'Cafe'.I've been here several times, and it's been a reliable, nice option and local business.Place is comfortable. Not overly large, but there are plenty of areas to sit both at a table or at the counter. I've only ordered to go, so I have no comments about the in-dining experience.I've only been ordering breakfast items, but upon last visit I decided to try more options the next time I come here. But the breakfast I have ordered has been good each time. The hot food behind the glass looks appetizing and I plan to try that next time I pass by.Staff has been friendly. I've mainly dealt with the one in the front and she's always very pleasant and welcoming.Parking is metered street or the municipal lot on the next block. Don't take chances without paying, because the parking violation police are here checking very frequently. “You cannot find a better salad in this neighborhood, the vegetables are so fresh and when you order over the phone they will make sure to not add the dressing until it’s picked up so that it doesn’t get soggy. This attention to detail is what makes this place gourmet, you’ll have a hard time finding another deli serving salads like this place anywhere nearby.“

“Total vibe before the Yankees game. We were in our St Louis Cardinals matching jerseys for our 5 yr anniversary. Everyone was so welcoming and helpful. The twins were really nice and their bouncer, server, host added so much entertainment and a genuine touch.

The food recommendation, and I quote: 'look im Greek, so I know everything taste great". With that we order two beef gyros and two Bloody Marys *spicy*. The gyro was the best open faced sandwich I have ever tasted. The Bloody Mary did not disappoint, great flavor and wonderfully spicy.

If we ever have a chance to go to another Yankees game. We will be back.“

“We all know ihop makes awesome breakfast. But the service here is what keeps the retention going! As soon as we walked in, we were immediately seated. Our server took our orders while also making suggestions of her own personal favorites. The facility was very clean, carpets were vacuumed, tables wiped down, the silverware were clean, etc. Parking here wasn’t a problem. This is definitely my go-to for breakfast when I’m in the mood for some ihop! Guys keep up the great work! Your hard work does not go unnoticed!

“Ever since this place changed the staff and management, it has been a much better experience. I used to come here and the service was slow and it seemed like all of the staff was drained. With the management the food comes fast and the waiters and waitresses are very attentive. This experience was especially good due to a waitress named Summer, who in all honesty needs a raise. Very hard working and a goes above and beyond for all of her patrons. If I go back there I need all of the servers to match her energy.“
