“We recently stopped by to check out The Common's new wine bar - The Uncommon Wine Bar.

The food and drinks were great. It amazing how they transition the space every day from a day time restaurant to a very classy and cozy wine bar. All the apps our group tasted were excellent. There is a nice selection of wine by the bottle and by the glass and a few beers and coffees available as well.

All seating is at tables (i.e., there is no bar) which makes the atmosphere quite relaxed. There are no entrees per se, but we managed to make a full meal out of the apps and charcuterie available. The service was great, very pleasant and attentive.“

“I wish I would have taken pictures but I was very impressed with how nicely everything was packaged and sealed for delivery. Excellent attention to detail. The extra attention with the packaging really shows how much they care. The food was also very yummy; I had the espresso mocha with the better breakfast and a pecan bun. Would recommend.“

“I come here when I need work done on my car, since my mechanic is a few blocks away , unfortunately it has been too often. Coming to Breakhouse puts some good vibes Into the trip. I get here early, I love their breakfast selections. The coffee is good but cappuccino is even better. They have a very clean and comfortable bathroom. If I lived closer, I'd be here very often. I would eat anything from their menu, but for our first time here, we had the #2 breakfast burrito and the Ramos breakfast sandwich. They even had picked jalapenos at the table, which was very special to see and made it feel like home. “Ordered from Wildberry Cake for a special occasion, and overall we were very pleased. The cake looked stunning - the decoration was detailed, clean, and exact to what we requested. The berry flavor was fresh and natural, not overly sugary or artificial like a lot of bakery cakes can be.
The only small downside was that the sponge layers were slightly on the drier side compared to the rich cream filling. A little more moisture in the cake itself would make it absolute perfection.
That said, the presentation was gorgeous, pickup was smooth, and everyone at the party still loved it. I'd definitely order from them again!“

“I absolutely love this IHOP. I’ve been coming here since I was young with my parents and my siblings, and all these years later, it’s still the IHOP I prefer.

I grew up in Coney Island, and even after an IHOP opened closer to me there, I still preferred coming here. Now I live in Staten Island, and I will STILL make the trip to Brooklyn to eat at this location. That alone should tell you how consistently good this place has been over the years. Even my dad still comes here and prefers this IHOP over any other location.

My most recent visit was another great experience. The restaurant was busy, but the staff knows how to move! They get people seated, the kitchen keeps the orders coming, and somehow everything still comes out fresh and hot. My food was delicious, my coffee was fresh and piping hot, and the entire experience was seamless.

My server, Fanny L., was amazing. She was friendly, attentive, and made sure I had everything I needed without hovering. The service was impeccable, and she was absolutely deserving of the tip I left her, which was well over the suggested 20%.

I couldn't even finish all my food because I was so full! After putting my leftovers in the car, I came back inside to use the restroom and was happy to see that it was clean and well maintained. The only minor thing I noticed was that there weren't any paper towels, but there was a working hand dryer, so it really wasn't an issue.

I genuinely have nothing bad to say about this place. Even when they're packed, the service and food remain consistently great. There's also something special about being able to return to a restaurant you visited as a kid with your family and find that, decades later, they're still taking care of you.
