“Gave this place a try a week ago and it was pretty good. Nothing we had was what I would call "ground breaking" but it was pretty solid for classics. The pancakes were very fluffy and fat but held good flavor too. For some reason I just had to try this places chopped cheese (my local bodega stopped selling food and switched to weed) and yea I've had better chopped cheeses but it did scratch that itch when you're craving one. I got the energizer juice also which was on par with others no notes. All in all the place is studry it sells what it's good at and seems to have a following of customers that appreciate that.“

“I’ve been bringing my son Lucas here since he is 1.5 years old even before we moved to South Slope, this is a family owned classic Park Slope diner, brother & sister Nick ♥️ Erene have been showing us their family love & can’t believe how much my son has grown still loving their chicken fingers. I personally love their homemade breakfast fries and grits. They have the best grits. Their grits is better than the grits at fancy places. As a parent in Park Slope, this this is my to go to a place in the hood, and he rarely eats out. I never worry when I have to bring him here. It’s the same good ‘ol breaded chicken fingers that he loved when he barely had teeth. They make us feel like family & while so many changes happens to the neighborhood. I hope this little Gem stays the same. Little purity is packed on Sundays, their food is great & it’s great service. Made me live the real NYC diner experience. “Very good place for brunch/lunch. This was our first visit, and it was a little pricier than we had anticipated, but was good none-the-less. Excellent kids menu... We found something for 2 picky under-10 year olds.Important note- payment is by Venmo or Cash ONLY. They have an ATM on site... But this is something they should advertise more prominently.Our server was super awesome and was able to guide us through the menu with ease.Excellent place. Definitely recommend and would return myself.“
“I come here when I need work done on my car, since my mechanic is a few blocks away , unfortunately it has been too often. Coming to Breakhouse puts some good vibes Into the trip. I get here early, I love their breakfast selections. The coffee is good but cappuccino is even better. They have a very clean and comfortable bathroom. If I lived closer, I'd be here very often. It's one of my favorite restaurants, pleasant people and cozy.“

“Guys, this is THE go-to when it comes to food in this area. I have been here at least 6 times and I always try something new. No matter how different the food is, they always nail it! Ranging from pancakes to Mexican food to paninis they got it all down to a tee. Ordering will be reliable but please try dining in if you get a chance, the staff are so sweet and kind. 10/10 for me.“
“I had shrimp and pasta. No Angel hair pasta,; the shrimp was raw and they said it was broiled and they had been broiled but now put in oven which they did but since they were frozen to begin with, they still didn't taste right. When they gave me my shrimp, they confused my fish with her fish. Not a good practice. Too many ppl are sick. My girlfriend order something different but I ate while my girlfriend was waiting for her food. They had a different menu for lunch which they never said but the menu changed at 3 pm. Never did that before. Trying to figure out menus was a horror. The air conditioning was waay too high for this time of year. Everything was changed. Never had a problem with their food before. Was not a good experience at all. This was first time ever that I had such a bad experience. I didn't finish my food. I was disgusted by then. The bread and butter was what I basically had and paid a lot for food. What happened to this restaurant? Sad story.“
“We had a wonderful breakfast in this charming cafe on our recent visit to the area. My latte was beautiful and delicious. Avo smash was great and my companions enjoyed their breakfast choices. Cafe has a nice ambiance and great service. All the cakes on the display looked delicious. They also have an outdoor area. I loved the mugs we got with our coffee drinks!“

I go to Companion multiple times a day, for their mocha and roasted veggies mush bowel, and their open faced smoked salmon/ avocado and grilled cheese and mushroom toast are decadent. Side note, if Sophia is there, ask her about the somatic/ cranial sacral therapy work she does... she’s an amazing healer and has helped me get my nervous system back on track. To sum up, Companion isn’t just a cafe. It’s a healing hub, and you can go there in the evenings to have a drink and connect with anyone in there. So, Companion, is not just a clever name �“

“Ordered: Burrito Bun Breakfast Sandwich (~$14): pasture raised scrambled eggs, organic spinach, avocado, Cabot pepper jack, chipotle aioli & crunchy lime red cabbage on an onion poppy bun Aya's take: What a killer of a breakfast sandwich! I was in the area and this was the 3rd place I came to; the others were closed (it's a holiday weekend so I understand). The Blue Light Speak Cheesy has a few tables and almost all of them were full. We were able to snag the last available table while I ordered at the counter. I realize they serve different sandwiches on different days of the week (I went on a Sunday) which could motivate people to come back on other days. On the other hand, it could be disappointing if they're not serving what you want on that particular day. Anyway, onto the sandwich! The Burrito Bun Breakfast Sandwich was so well-balanced. From the soft scrambled eggs to the tangy and vibrant red cabbage to the flavor of the pepper jack to the freshness of the spinach and avocado, it was everything you could want in a breakfast sandwich. I think the only thing that would make it better is if it had a layer of crunch (like a hash brown). Nonetheless, it was so filling and hit the spot. I highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area and I can't wait to come back.“
