“Found this place during our stay for the US Open. One member of our party was vegan and this place had many vegan friendly options. The vegan eggs Benedict options were impressive and you could not tell it was vegan. I ordered the chicken and egg Benedict which was nice. Love the ambiance and decor of the place. For calm, quiet, and relaxing. The mocha lattes were excellent and love the tumbler idea to serve them in. Highly recommend!“

“We recently stopped by to check out The Common's new wine bar - The Uncommon Wine Bar.

The food and drinks were great. It amazing how they transition the space every day from a day time restaurant to a very classy and cozy wine bar. All the apps our group tasted were excellent. There is a nice selection of wine by the bottle and by the glass and a few beers and coffees available as well.

All seating is at tables (i.e., there is no bar) which makes the atmosphere quite relaxed. There are no entrees per se, but we managed to make a full meal out of the apps and charcuterie available. The service was great, very pleasant and attentive.“

It's right near Trinity place, which puts you right near the world trade center and all that and the 9/11 memorial has a lot of other things to do after you eat!. We came across this restaurant on the GPS and decided to stop in for breakfast before continuing our trip. I am so glad we did! It was just what we needed to continue on. Not only were the food and drinks delicious but the customer service was top tier! I wish we got the name of the individual who served us. I believe she was the owner. She took time to speak with us, made suggestions on what we could order (my husband loved the big Johnston breakfast), engaged with my toddler with kindness and playfulness which was so helpful after a long drive. We were so grateful for her. The service was above and beyond. She even helped us with parking suggestion which was confusing for us as we were out of town. Loved how she engaged with the other customers and her regulars. You could definitely tell that the customer service we experienced was not a one-off experience. “Best Damn Breakfast Burrito has become one of my regular breakfast stops, and the Egg Whites Laurena is my go-to order. The flavors are great, the ingredients taste fresh, and it manages to be satisfying without feeling overly heavy. It’s the kind of breakfast I find myself coming back for again and again.

My only complaint is structural rather than culinary. The tortilla simply doesn’t do a good enough job containing the filling. Every time I order it, the contents start leaking out almost immediately, making it nearly impossible to eat without creating a mess. A sturdier wrap or a slightly different assembly would make a huge difference.

Despite that, the quality of the food keeps me coming back. If they could solve the burrito engineering problem, it would be very close to perfect.“
