WHAT A FIND & HIGHLY RECOMMEND Chef Abyssinia! I was in search of a great chef to come to our home and cook a surprise 60th birthday dinner for my husband and came across Chef Abyssinia with a Google search that turned up with many 5-star reviews. I called immediately and was fortunate she was available. It was a pleasurable experience from start to finish and if I could give more than a 5-star review I would. She is a warm, friendly, and incredibly talented chef who takes great pride in her work as was displayed by the preparation and deliciousness. I would go as far as saying it was one of our top 5 meals ever and we are big foodies. We went with the 4-course option that included Scallops Au Gratin, Winter Salad, Maple Glazed Salmon & Chocolate Mousse. We tasted the freshness and love with every bite. Thank you, Chef Abyssinia, for a memorable birthday celebration. Can't wait to have you back!!!

Abyssinia is truly one of the best! I hired Chef Abyssinia for a milestone birthday and it was amazing. We did a cocktail style small gathering and having Chef's Abyssinia delicious hors d'oeuvres took up the event an entire notch. Additionally, Chef Abyssinia is so pleasant to work with. Highly recommend!

I host a large gathering of women every month, and it's a complicated one that requires something for everyone (from gluten-free to dairy-free-to vegetarian to keto). Chef Abyssinia not only creates something tasty for each need, she is able to present beautiful food over a three hour event that stays gorgeous and fresh throughout. She is charming with guests as well as reliable and professional with me -- everything you could ask for with in-home catering!

Chef Abyssinia provided a cooking class for my wife and several friends at our home. She was wonderful, everyone had a terrific time and the food was delicious! J*** chicken, plantain mash with mango salsa, coconut rice… a really fun experience that we will always remember. And Abyssinia was so kind, a perfectly patient teacher who still made sure we didn’t mess up the meal! Highly recommend her services.

I found Chef Abyssinia thanks to the excellent reviews she received from others and let me say - they were right!! She is a talented chef and a lovely person. A pleasure to work with and incredibly accommodating of dietary restrictions. The food was delicious (I don’t know what she did to the peaches in the salad but they were incredible and I have seriously never had a red velvet cupcake that good ever before in my life!) and her personal touches were so kind and thoughtful. Before she even left, I talked to her about my next party!

Absolutely amazingly delicious food. Chef Abyssinia catered my daughter’s birthday party for about 50 people last weekend and everyone loved her food. This is my second event she catered. Her salmon is so good, ribs is made to perfection, seasonal veggies is the best veggies you will ever have, even the pickiest eaters will love it. You get the idea, everything she makes is phenomenal. Her and her team are very friendly and professional and pay attention to detail and she’s very easy to work with. She will be my go to for any event that I have

Chef Abyssinia was a pleasure to work with for our dinner party (11 guests). She is very thorough, organized and her food is DELICIOUS. Our guests were so impressed with the food we ordered for our buffet service and there was more than enough for multiple servings/to go. We had a wonderful experience working with Chef Abyssinia, who prepared a memorable vegetarian tasting menu for an 8-guest dinner party at my home. The food was incredible, with gorgeous presentation and a perfectly paced service. Chef Abyssinia was terrific! I set up a cooking class for 4 people for my wife's birthday. The food was delicious, she did an excellent job working with my wife and two adult kids, and we really enjoyed ourselves. The communication in advance and payment process was seamless, and she texted me on the way to let me know she was running a few minutes late, so she's obviously responsible and conscientious. I recommend her highly and will definitely plan on using her again.

Chef Abyssinia is incredible. In addition to being absolutely delightful and a wonderful person, she is a truly exceptional chef. Everything she does is done with incredible attention to detail. Her food is beautifully presented, delicious and inventive. I cannot say enough good about her. This is our second time using her to cook dinner for us on Christmas Eve. We cannot even decide which meal was better: this year or last year. Chef Abyssinia and I worked together to plan the menu both times. She listened, responded creatively and both times, we ended up with menus that were amazing- as good as anything we would have in a very high end restaurant in NY. She also serves and cleans up, so it was an all-around delightful experience. I cannot recommend her highly enough.
