This used to be my favorite deli in the area for the past 10 years but this past year everything has become unreasonably priced, the staff is insufficient and rude, they have gotten me rotten condiments multiple times specifically marinara sauce with the mozzarella sticks and they always mess up my order. I’m never coming back it’s never worth it
All around, this is a three star experience. The food is ok (some is poisonous), the service is fine, and the atmosphere is pretty clean.
We had ordered some chicken over rice, curly fries, and a protein smoothie. The restaurant proactively called us to inform us some ingredients of the protein smoothie we’re out of stock and we were able to make a substitution quite easily.
The curly fries are pretty good and well seasoned. It’s definitely a frozen packaged item, but this restaurant cooks them very well.
The chicken over rice is pretty decent but has some major issues. Nothing crazy to write home about, but it gets the job done in terms of the meat and rice. The giant issue comes with the tomatoes and lettuce. I believe it’s the tomatoes, but eating them had an extremely strong chemical cleaner taste and smell. I believe this restaurant has not properly washed those vegetables, or they have gone extremely bad and are still being used. Whatever it is, it tasted like something that could be poisonous and harm you. I definitely recommend asking that they do not put any veggies in your bowl.
Atmosphere is fine. They have a wide selection of anything you could need and it is all neatly organized.

Bought milk here recently and don’t realize until I got home that it was already over 2 weeks past the expiry date printed on the carton. Not only was the milk more expensive than other nearby retailers, it was expired… Never going to never shop there again.

Everything you want in a bodega. The cooks are fantastic and the whole crew has a great vibe... They've really become a cornerstone of the community! Food-wise, the breakfast sandwiches and the lamb over rice are particular highlights.

Employees are super nice, food is cheaper than babas, and better tasting and overall just the best bodega in the city! Highly recommend

They Don't check to see what's passed expiration enough. Some of the Beverages be expired, brought some expired gourmet popcorn for $5. If you selling expired stuff least you can do is lower the price.
