Best slice in town IMO. Crust is about the thickness you’d find in PITTSBURGH PA. Not NY wimpy paper, not a Chicago chode. And it’s got a little crisp on its underside, like Pizza Hut except it’s not junk. Not sure what they’re doing in terms of a mozzarella:provolone ratio but whatever it is, it’s just right, just like their sauce. Their garlic powder hits where it counts. Only reason to go to midtown is this place. DO IT.
The pizza itself was pretty good, almost as good as you can get for a 1.50 slice. Crispy crust and tasty cheese. I had to wait like 15 minutes to order though, meanwhile two workers were just standing around as the line went out the door. The other customers and I were certainly confused about the wait.
Just moved into the city. Was hungry after a few drinks and passed this establishment on my way home. The pizza was warm, quick to make, and incredibly delicious. A $1.50 for a BIG slice of pizza is how things should be done. Already went back today for another slice!
