Nice, quick delivery, but I thought the Chinese food and dumplings were below average :/

not sure why this place has only 2.5 stars! great service, really welcoming. the food came within 5 minutes of ordering. the soups were all good (although the wonton wrappers were a little thick). the fried potstickers were different than I was used to but I was pleasantly surprised. all in all a great experience!

We went here mostly we were tired of walking in the cold, and it looked kind of nice inside. The food reminded me of Chinese food in the 1960s-70s; it's been a while since I last saw chop suey on a Chinese menu. The service was very nice, the food kind of ordinary. Although the dining room was empty, they got a lot of phone orders while we were there.

I am usually not a big fan of writing bad yelp reviews. Normally I would just suck it up and get something else. This place was so horrible that I felt it was my duty to say something. So I had a huge craving for good Cantonese style lobster. Mind you, you can look up any recipe for this dish, especially in reputable Chinese cook books, and you will find that Cantonese style lobster is made with minced pork and scrambled egg, oh and did I mention - WITH A LOBSTER What did I get? I got a goopy soup resembling a bowl of snot with maybe a small sized lobster tail. It was literally egg drop soup with carrots, peas and a few pieces of lobster. I was so shocked, I called the restaurant. They told me that this WAS Cantonese lobster and that this is how its made - and in fact this chef has made this dish at MANY restaurants all over Chinatown just like this. WRONG. Please go into any reputable Chinese restaurant, AMAZING 66, JING FONG, EVEN BIG WING WONG FOR CHRIST SAKE (and they are mostly known for their roast duck, and chicken, mind you) and ask for CANTONESE LOBSTER and you will get something completely different from the sloppy monstrosity that I got from this restaurant. My personal opinion? Since we ordered from GrubHub, and I spoke English - they probably assumed that I was not Chinese and didn't know what REAL CHINESE FOOD IS. They probably assumed that they could pass off this imitation dish and it would go unnoticed. Sorry, not when I am paying $25 bucks for this dish. The second dish that I ordered? Ma Po Tofu. It was sweet, and a tiny bit spicy. Think corn syrup with Tabasco sauce. It had no pork. Please look up any recipe for that dish as well, and you will see that it IS SUPPOSED TO HAVE PORK IN IT. Hands down, I will never order from this restaurant again. Not even if I was starving and it was the only place open. I would rather eat my foot.

Ordered from here last night simply because I was looking for a restaurant open late on my route home. Found I could order online, and did so knowing not much more about the restaurant. Arrived to find a very plain store front, and an interior clearly geared for take-out (about 3 tables inside) I was extremely pleasantly surprised. It was the second best Ma Po Tofu I've had in my life (and I've ordered it from a lot of restaurants - the best is in India). I look forward to returning here soon.

I ordered a pork and veggies lunch special through Seamless for 7.50 that included the entree, pork fried rice and a free soup or soda. The entree was pretty good, but the pork was a bit on the bland side. Still, not bad for the price. The rice was not very good at all, a little undercooked and too many raw white onions. They also use a thicker brown grain than most other places. The hot + sour soup was pretty good, and all for 7.50 makes this place a good cheap lunch place. I am not sure how busy they are but I was estimated 25-40 minutes and it took an hour to get here. It was still hot though, so I imagine it was just a busy day and not a bad delivery system.

I really didn't enjoy my experience here. The food was alright, nothing special. The service wasn't very attentive and overall I just left unimpressed. It's decent but much better options are out there.

Good value for money. Ordered delivery through GrubHub. Food was decent, the portions are massive! The delivery was prompt and the guy was friendly. They have a big menu and are open on the weekends in FiDi!
