The atmosphere is lacking, but the food is good. It used to be great, and now lack consistency. The service leaves something to be desired.
I come for the smothered chicken, but I don't go as often due to the increased prices and decreased service.

Thanksgiving meal was awful, just awful. Nothing was sliced. Ni gravy. The meat was chopped up. Dressing was worse than stove top. Sweet potato pie was awful. Stale.no taste. Who is the cook in this place.

Paid $150 food was horrible . Never again.

absolutely delicious. this is authentic soul food and all the flavors are on point. i really loved the collard greens and mac and cheese. the fried chicken was delicious and the banana pudding was light and not too sweet.
