Great theater that shows movies you wont find at an AMC but this place can be super annoying, if you’re a member and gain points and then try to use your points to pay for tickets online, the website will take your points and then still charge you full price for the tickets, they also don’t take apple pay at the theater which is pretty inconvenient
New York City has the greatest selection and venues for independent cinema in the United States and the Angelika is one of the reasons. Decades of amazing programming. Indies, foreign films, and a whole bunch of alternative choices. The cafe is also a kind of legendary space and the location on Houston near Broadway is so central to downtown. Still one of the great anchors of downtown NYC culture.
